Refs need to let that shit go & let players determine the outcome.

If you swing your arm demonstratively, same as Kobe did early on in the game, you're gonna get T'd up. He didn't swing his arm after the travel call, he put his hands up in the air, and quizzically looked at the ref. Both Mayo and Dirk swung their arms...easy tech call that has been called consistently all year and was no different today.

Don't compound bad calls or non-calls with ticky-tack techs, period.

So you can miss me with that. If you throw that arm out, they are calling a technical. Pretty much an unwritten rule at this point...akin to bouncing the ball over your head. It's not something I'm particularly fond of because I'd venture 90% of Kobe's techs have come that way...but they call it pretty consistently across the board so it's on the players to adjust.

As far as the calls themselves, Dirk def had a reason to be upset but Mayo clearly hit Kobe on his forearm.

I'm beginning to doubt that this team, even with a 110% healthy Rose, can even challenge the Heat or the Pacers in the playoffs.

Reggie Rose is right, Derrick needs more help if the Bulls want to contend for a championship. Yes, he has two all-stars, but the Bulls need a second scoring option. The only player that can create his own shot on this team right now is Nate Robinson. Noah is a great energy player and Deng is solid all around, but you can't seriously look at this team and say they have enough. 36 points at the half. Nobody on this team can score, and against elite defenses ball-movement and offensive rebounds won't suffice.

The Bulls won't make it past the Heat until they find a reliable second scoring option. They better make some moves this offseason because this team isn't going to cut it.

he's a better option than Lillard or Aldridge. Dude is not a scorer.

LA has no go to move besides the fade-away and isn't a good passer, so basically, when his shot isn't falling dude is average. Lillard on the other hand was struggling with his shot. Worldwide Wes bailing him out again.

It's a key component to his game. He's now able to make teams pay for double teaming him, where he used to be able to be exploited for turnovers.

I agree that he's not good at getting to the line in crunch time, and he's been atrocious at making his free throws in the clutch. It would help if he got more star treatment from the refs near the basket--It seems like whenever he drives to the bucket down the stretch, he never gets the whistle.
