Toughness and KG shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath. Dude is a PnR/help defender.......he always shies away from contact as much as possible unless when he's setting illegal screen. This is the same dude that got man handled by Pau in the 2010 finals. Just look at how he became a mediocre rebounder as his athleticism degraded.

lol...Listen...we all know he does the fake gangsta thing from time to time...But the man is still a better (and tougher) post player than any BIG on the Clippers...
To me, it's a domino effect...An 80 year old Garnett would still create more space for Blake to operate....His passing would open up even more 3 point shooters...And yeah, he has enough of a post game to keep teams honest...still....
It's obvious what they are missing...And really, I would have pulled the trigger only because no one knows if Paul is even going to stay in Clipper land...

i think its best they chill until the offseason. Garnett has 2 years left TOPS. I still think they need more than him to beat OKC/SPURS in 7 and it doesn't make sense to dump off your two young value pieces for an old ass Garnett.
This season is WCF at best...i think the FO knows this. Re-up during the summer once more options are available.
