I'm gonna try to make a trip out there for a game next season. It looks like a much better atmosphere than when they played @ the Savvis Center.

Actually if Pearl hadn't fucked up, Cuonzo Martin would have been PERFECT for that job. my daughter graduates in May and it's at the Chaifetz. Also, she's going to Missouri State and was really bummed out when Cuonzo bounced from there. To answer your question, yes. I went to a Saturday night game vs. Richmond. Great atmosphere. Beautiful place.

together at Purdue under Keady then Painter, Cuonzo Martin and Paul Lusk. Lusk then replaced Zo at Missouri St when he went to Tennessee. Lusk was a monster in high school, one of the coldest white boys I ever saw at the high school level, at 6-4 he could do it all shoot, handle the rock, and go to the rack and dunk on you. I think he blew his knee out in his first game as a freshman at Iowa, he ended up transferring to SIUC and had a decent career but was never the same player. Of course Zo was a freak in high school, that whole Lincoln squad was nasty with people like Vincent Jackson and Chris McKinney. When they pressed Bennie Lewis would put Zo on the ball, talk about a nightmare, that dude was long as hell and quick as fuck.

met him a couple of times. One time in particular, we were at this bar and grill and they were doing a live broadcast of a radio show. Dude was hilarious. He was walking around chatting people up, telling jokes and the whole nine. He would come by your table to see what you were eating like.... "dang, I should have ordered some of those"

Jett is from my hometown of St. Paul. Saw a lot of him in HS. He was considered the 3rd best talent in Mn behind Royce White and Rodney Williams. More than a few folks here were mad Tubby didn't offer him. Our loss is your gain.
