What does Jordan or Magic have to do with Bron and this season...

Nothing.

Bron is a different beast in his own lane.

granted, at this point it's amazing if he gets a scratch on his arm. but if lebron ever gets hurt on any key axis point...I don't know. I STILL feel like his jumper is scary mainly because he CANNOT be allowed to drive. If he ever can't drive...

I'm super curious, definitely.

For him to be operating shooting the way he is now in 4-5 years would be amazing. But like you said, it's no guarantee considering he'll be pushing 33 in 4 years.

Doesn't diminish what either did, but it's hard to compare stats when the game itself has some major differences in it.

now if you touch a guy, especially in the act of shooting, it's a foul. Unless you're the Toronto Raptors.

What's the flipside of that coin? You don't want to foul so you give up easy baskets for fear of fouling.

How many times have you seen the lane literally part like the red sea when Lebron has it within 10-12 feet out? Guys KNOW they'll get called for a foul if they challenge him. It's safer and easier to concede that play and try again next time or hope he kicks the ball back out.

The only team that doesn't play him like that is Indiana and surprise surprise...Miami lose.

the dudmb fouls and And 1's players get are ridiculous.

The refs are calling fouls for illusions of fouls.

IMO Lebron initiates most of the foul calls he gets. That's not to ssay other players don't get the quick whistle..

But he does seem to get more than his fair share of calls

MJ also had seasons shooting 53.8% while scoring 32.5 ppg and 53.5% scoring 35 ppg

that being said, Lebron is playing out of his mind right now.

In response to Reply # 0

Rings are everything but when separating great players, it's a significant factor.

Jordan has 6 rings, never lost a finals series, and never choked in the finals

Also Jordan has a career fg% of 49.7% career His rookie season he avg 51.5%. He came into the league making half of his shots. Not to mention the Wizards years watering down his numbers.

Now Lebron is close behind at 48.8% but it will take a few 55% seasons to put him at Jordan avg especially since he doesn't take as many shots as he used to.

People clearly acknowledged Bron is having a phenomenal season. However, what you want people to do is limit the conversation to just Bron shooting a great FG%.

If you're going to compare ANYONE to MJ you better be ready to talk about career accomplishments not just FG% for 1/2 a season.. lol
