This whole Oklahoma State team is fun to watch, to tell you the truth-- I try to tune in every time they're on.
But Marcus Smart, who has been struggling to shoot this game, has still been helping so much on every play, scrapping for the ball, making precision passes, spreading the floor for LeBryan Nash and the others to make some plays. Not to gush, but the kid just looks poised out there every time I've seen him. Some freshman shooters start to really fall apart when struggling with their shot like Smart is tonight... but Smart looks cool as a cucumber.
I actually like Nash's future potential too... but Smart is special.

They are a guarantee for bad shot selection, for dumb turnovers, for awful defensive stands...
... but they always have some fast and long motherfuckers that when they're on can put the ball in the bucket at an insanely quick rate. You just never want to fuck around with them.

Then they fell asleep defensively. Just mismanagement of the clock-- they must've thought there was a second or two less and he was gonna have to heave it.

DESTROYED his club. Said he'd only start three guys if the NCAA would let him, because he doesn't have five that are worth playing right now. Also said it's the worst starting five that ever put on a Kansas roster, except for maybe some of Naismith's early teams.
It's a fun watch if you get the chance to seek it out.
I didn't see the game, so I feel bad about boxscore bobbying here...but I saw that Naadir Tharpe shot 2-15. I can't imagine any circumstances where he should be taking more than 5 shots a game this season.
