Bledosoe starting has shown just how much credit he deserves for the benches success. The bench misses him just as much as the starters miss Paul.

that is a certain way of looking at it, but people are not interested in
him as a role player. teams want him to be their starting pg, and he has yet to prove that he can lead a team as a starting pg.

No way should they be losing to terrible teams without paul

I smell Kyle Lowry

The Cs?

come on. they are garbage. For most of this run without paul, bledsoe has not been impressive.

And a pg is supposed to do more than just score points. A pg has to know how to close games and keep players in order. I have yet to see that from bledsoe. Paul can control a game without putting up a single stat..

But jack did learn from paul, so maybe bledsoe will learn over time ...

You're comparing a guy that hasn't started a dozen games in his career to one of the best PGs off all time? Haha

By that definition 90% of the PGs in the league are garbage.

Not that Zeller is a "bust," mind you. He just won't put up what you want from a #2 pick, numbers-wise. Still, there'll be teams tempted to take him crazy high, especially if they make a super deep tourney run.

Obviously MJ will have some input but I think Cho will easily be able to sway him away from Zeller.

Personally, I thought MGK was the right pick and Kemba was a need pick in a weak draft. They should have probably traded down but that's the kind of move I think Cho will make (whereas MJ wouldn't have.)

Amare had three blocks tonight.
Not as mch dribble penetration when they have to contend with two egit bigs instead of a slow ass pg that can't think about keeping anyone in front of him.

We have to choose either Shump or Kidd. Not both. Its old and stupid at this point. Woody has to realize it. Every fucking game we spot teams 10 or more points. EVERY FUCKING GAME.

you should hope for a healthy CP3 & Blake so Bledsoe has a shot at winning as a role player, then you can have that in your back pocket to pull out while he's losing leading 'his own team' somewhere else.

He was a rookie last year, usually rookies improve from year to year.

He's shooting 42% from 3 so far, up from 30% last season. So his long range shooting got better, now we just want to see him do the stuff he was doing last year.

Its really not that complicated, don't know why you and bomb getting all omigosh.

Well i know why bomb is, philly sucks.

I'm suprised by that. He has talent and can play. Just not sure why it hasn't worked for him there. Read something about him not getting along with the coaches. Hope that's not true. Not a good look for him after last year. He's not good enough to be THAT dude.

and atlanta was up big
stopped watching at that point but i see they had a spurt in the 4th, which was most likely garbage time i assume
and i don't think there is any doubt that the raptors are playing better ball now 8-24 be damned
gay provides them with a perimeter threat that needs to be accounted for.

This ngh still mad about the trade even though he finally got his role players. We had an exciting back court after the first trade but now he switched up that rotation despite none of the players moving. Why is Wroten on the bench when mike is tired and Bayless putting up numbers as a SG? Why is Chris Johnson not getting minutes after spreading the floor? Why is Davis not on the floor with Darrell?

Son is acting like a gigantic baby. WE HAVE THE FUCKING PIECES.

That's why I wasn't that fucked up about losing the draft pick. With Lionel at the helm, they're not gonna get developed anyway.

they were .500 at home before gay this season.

as far as perimeter spacing...they're getting bargnani back now too which accomplishes many of the same (misguided) goals.

because it's not like they traded away their best perimeter shooter or anything.

>Inefficient? Yep
>Scores above average in losses? Yep.

I think we go efficiency crazy at times on this board...It's like we all (and I'm guilty of the same thing at times) turn a blind eye to other parts of the stat box...I can assure you that Toronto didn't lose that game because Gay shot 8 for 24...Not when dude pulled down 12 rebounds and had 4 steals, and shot 8 for 8 at the FT line and a few assists...Gay has actually been putting in work in Toronto...

Again, I'm with you, for now...it's too soon to be laughing at Memphis's current slide (Gotta give them some time to gel)...

But the glaring stat is young DeMar (Who I think will indeed be a star)...You see, I don't mind when players shoot poorly as long as they get to the line or are contributing in other ways...Dude did virtually nothing else but drop 13 points on shaky shooting...

Just saying...

GOAT of his era......long live Prince.....God is alive....

And you know he's gonna win Toronto some games in the process, that they probably wouldn't have won had he not been there. He's a legit 'scorer'. An overpaid one, but still legit and capable of lighting that ass up. Especially on a team like Toronto, who had to be begging for some sort of a primary scorer. Now guys like Derozen and that soft Italian pussy can go back to their true roles.

it's hard as hell to see the entire nba. watching an EC team and a WC team, I see them, and everyone they play.

in watching the rockets. I get to watch a young, offensively dynamic team, and I don't live and die with every game. waaay less stressful than watching the knicks.

Complaining after plays refs after plays! His signature move.

I can live with his dribbling away 3-4 possessions a game. I can live with him loafing around pouty when his shot isn't falling. I can live his broke as J. But that complaining and talking to the ref constantly is annoying. Tyreke abused him last week. Picked him clean during one of his 24 sec dribble fests. So what does he do, stand there with his hands out complaining to the ref rather than get back on D. Fuck that dude. He's run out of excuses.

An All-Star 22 year-old PG, a solid SF then Bynum or more money for a roster already going to be very salary-flexible.

The last thing we needed was to give Duck Sauce a long-term deal he didn't deserve just off draft position.

He's out of excuses. No meeks, No iggy, plenty of minutes, plenty to tick to show yourself. They can't cut bait on him now because of the investment, but you're right there is no way they can commit to him beyond his rookie contract. For a guy who came in billed as a do-it-all type player, when his shot isn't falling he's shit. He just pouts and gripes to the officials. He was on a roll after that grizz game. Stunk since. That Sac game was the tipping point for me.

if someone air balls 2 straight shots they ain't seeing the rock on the next possession. Jr Smith/Stephen Jackson are the kings of air balls.

WHAT'S GOOD *****? What's REALLY good?!?!????!!! Ha HA!

The fact that he finally got a chance to air it out and instead airballed all of them does not happen often.

102. "time to move kidd to the bench"

dude not even hitting his shots or getting them klepto steals. He's obviously at a rough point. the small starting lineup is not really working anymore. Instead of melo at the 4, getting doubled and kicking out for a 3, we see what happens when he gets doubled and dishes to amare in the lane. buckets.

another thing i like to see is shump guarding the pg. Wall and jrue have burned felton. Obviously it only works when felton can guard the sg, but if you play shump some minutes with the 2nd unit with kidd at pg, you can have kidd guard the 2 and let shump disrupt the offense.

We got off to a horrible start each half.

Amare had some lapses on defense yesterday but he's been above average on defense and great on offense since he came back. I been pleased.

Felton has played much better on offense since his return as well. Shooting less and running the offense proper.

-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.

the feeling the whole game was we were down by 10 or more--which wasnt the case. We actually had a nice lead for awhile in the 2nd qtr.

James carried us tonight. He was hitting the 3 and just making all kinds of big plays which kept us in the game. Unfortunately it also led to the ball sticking to him in the last 2 minutes--which led to some turnovers/bad shots.

Dont know why Cole Aldrich played. He should never get PT over Greg Smith.

Looks like overall were back to playing good ball again. That 7 game losing streak is behind us and hopefully we can win vs Portland on Friday to try and get some separation.

as 6 and as low as 9.

in the playoffs, they'll catch a good team for 1 game and beat em by 15+ they might play 2 of their losses within 10, and likely get blown out the other 2.

youngest team in the league. too many turnovers. not built for grind it out playoff basketball.

that said, if Morey stays pat, makes no deals at the deadline, and this roster makes the playoffs, all of his movable pieces will be at their highest value come summer.

7/8 seems likely tho.

i don't know which one of those top teams can get sucked into the rockets style of play. Def not OKC, i doubt Clips will, San an does in the reg season but i have a hard time seeing pop allow that in the playoffs.

if they somehow matchup with denver tho.........

Gstate: Yes, would be a fun series
Memphis: Absolutely
Jazz: Yes
Denver: would be fun but we'd eventually lose
Lakers: Yes
Portland: Yes

That 7 game losing streak has me shook. We cant afford another one of those.

Id love it for us and the Lakers to make the playoffs cause that will make the playoffs so much more fun. Nobody wants to see that Utah team and while I like the Portland team, the bench is so bad.

I think Portland eventually breaks down and hits a wall.
Im hoping Utah falls out and we hold 7 or 8.

I like the way we matchup vs the Spurs even if we cant beat them. OKC and Clippers are bad matchups.
