-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.

thats the energy god and my favourite player in one day.

That said, with my business head on, these are solid logical cuts. The team pent too much time hoping and waiting on bradshaw to get healthy and that shouldnt be the case with your number 1. I dunno if wilon is ready but brown showed toughness so hopefully he comes back healthy and they get him at "cost".

Canty although my favourite player looks on the downside of his career and so makes sense as a cap casualty. Im intrigued who they feel is the guy to replace him. kuhn before injury looked like he had potential, i didnt see much from marvin austin, rocky bernard is old and out of contract.....

In any case best of luck to the both of em hopefully they get healthy and paid somewhere.

Also i wouldnt be surprised if Tuck was next to go he hasn't looked worth the contract for two years.

another leader not performer

We saw how much the Giants spend on D from the infographic you posted

It's egalitarian in a sense

All get paid as a unit more or less the same

There are no superstar paychecks but there is money being spent

Canty is a big loss, Tuck will be a big loss. but when you look at how the Seahawks built a crazy defense for cheap you have to think sacrifices

These last two years the front office has been pretty bloody minded about getting the finances in order so i can't be too mad about people going. u;timately if you've been producing you will have nothing to fear. I just read webster is also up for cutting so we'll almost certainly draft a CB first round cos good free agent corners will cost as much as webster. I heard it a decent draft for corners so...

I mean, Bradshaw was actually productive this year and he's gone.

Boley lost a step but was still our best LB(not saying much but still) and Canty was looking better as he got healthy.

If they're cutting productive players.....Webster and Diehl were ass this year, so you'd think they'll be gone.

And lets revamp the lb's & secondary.

We need fresh blood. Young/physical and disciplined.

Diehl is gonna be tough to see leave too. As someone that played left tackle for most of a superbowl run and played pretty much every position on the line, his versatility will be missed.

In fact thats been the key with boley, bradshaw and canty their ability to play through injuries/in different spots. Hopefully the guys that replace em can do likewise.

Also im pretty sure Bennett aint getting reupped either. Its gonna be an interesting draft/free agency.

sucks but hey it's football.

Canty didn't live up to his contract. Boley gave us some good play but it was time.

if this means we sign nicks and cruz long term then shit i'm cool with that.

pretty much...if the line is solid you can pretty much pick and plug backs in there to get 4+ yards per. Wilson got the explosiveness and we might have something in brown.

Bradshaw was a beast. i remember hearing about him before the draft being a sleeper pick. troubled kid at virginia gets kicked out and goes to marshall. balls out his junior year and we snag him in the 7th round. he was damn near mister irrelevant and ended up being the 3rd best running back in that class(behind AP and Lynch). he didn't have any AMAZING years. and he had that horrible fumbling season. But he made big plays in big spots. just couldn't stay healthy.

that bills game in 07 he busts out after riding the bench most of the year and dude breaks an 88 yarder.

him trucking the shit out of Poole

bitch slapping Allen from the iggles.

that dramatic ass TD in superbowl 47

dragging d.manning into the endzone.

He ran like Dave Megget but with muscles lol

Dre makes no apologies for his own eccentricities. “I was young, and searching, trying to find myself,” he says. “Never did.”-- Andre B

I mean Andre could turn out to be a little more consistent and Wilson having the big play ability.

til Andre Brown got hurt

Bradshaw's first game back he did very well, but aftwerwards he just couldn't seem to find explode / adjust his trajectory to pick up that 10 yard gain, something I believe both Brown and Wilson have a better knack for

Unless wilson and to a degree brown show massive improvement in pass protection they wont be the starting pair.
