I have no agenda what so ever when it comes to Gay...I've rarely paid attention to Memphis except when they r the playoffs (that's when I usually root for them to beat San Antonio and the like)...In fact, where there was rumors of a Gay for Deng trade I thought that would be a mistake given that he doesn't play at the defensive level as the homie Luuuuuu.....

But when I hear so many people shitting on Gay that started to at least get me interested in looking up his stats and the style of play of that Memphis team...I just think with that open style of play in Toronto Gay is going to flourish...He will be able to get into the post more (something he couldn't do when the power shifted to Zach and Gasol...hence his shaky inefficiency)...And I think that fast-paced style will allow him more freedom to show his all around game as being more than just a scorer (I think his rebounding will pick up)....

Basically, I'm saying Gay is not as bad as some folks on this board are making him out to be...Try not to reach beyond what I'm saying...This is not an indictment on anyone else's opinion..lol...It's just my own thoughts on the matter...

But that's the thing...I think Gay at the least is a good second option...I don't think he's as mediocre as people make him out to be..he will put up some good numbers in Toronto...let's put it this way...Gay wasn't the reason Memphis couldn't get over the hump...it was a money issue that led to that trade...But making the kid out like he's no better than Caron Butler is a little sketchy...I think he will be pretty good in Toronto...their issue is as always their PG play..
