A couple ass whoopins tonight on FNF, not sure why JLC still gets to fight on tv.

Nothing flashy at all about Molina, but I can see why he has a hard time getting big fights. He's a hard night's work for anyone at 154.

Molina stays in the pocket a lot more, but both guys use that sneaky head movement and keep guys out of their comfort zone. Not that it mattered today since Spinks is depressingly shot, but put Molina on against a top guy again and I'll watch.

My most favorite Australian Sam Soliman beat Felix Sturm in Germany, that's the highlight of the day by far. FNF just made me sad.

Happy to see anyone get a win over Sturm after some of the gift decisions he's gotten the last few years. But I share your love for Soliman, a pretty decent dude, with an awkward style. Good for him.

This shit is one of my all-time favorite tune-up fights, if only because the HBO commentators were so bemused by Soliman.

Larry Merchant called Soliman a "spastic crow".

Then when Lampley said something about Wright not being able to anticipate Soliman's punches, Merchant said it was like trying to anticipate where a fly was going to land on your arm. The whole team was on their A game that night, I love it.
