I hope the guy can at least stay on the floor and do what he loves...Hate to see a player get cut down before he even had a chance to show and prove...

GOAT of his era......long live Prince.....God is alive....

Or even meaningful minutes, really. I guess you could argue he should go to the Heat because of that, but that training staff could really help him.

-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.

not only because he seems like a genuinely nice guy, but because he was GREAT.

in the 21 games he played in 2009-10, per 36 minutes:

17 points
60% FG
64% TS
13 rebs
1.4 assists
3.4 blocks
PER: 23.1 (8th in the NBA)
offensive rating: 118
defensive rating: 100
WS/48: .218 (which would have been 6th behind only bron, durant, wade, howard and gasol)

obviously he had injury/conditioning/foul problems that limited his minutes to 24 a game, but he was on his way to being a dominant center.
