not only because he seems like a genuinely nice guy, but because he was GREAT.
in the 21 games he played in 2009-10, per 36 minutes:
17 points 60% FG 64% TS 13 rebs 1.4 assists 3.4 blocks PER: 23.1 (8th in the NBA) offensive rating: 118 defensive rating: 100 WS/48: .218 (which would have been 6th behind only bron, durant, wade, howard and gasol)
obviously he had injury/conditioning/foul problems that limited his minutes to 24 a game, but he was on his way to being a dominant center.
