2005-06

Tracy McGrady and Yao Ming were starters for the West from a Houston Rockets team that was 22-31 at the time of the game.

It had happened three times before that:

1975-76

Bob Dandridge and Brian Winters were starters for the West from a Milwaukee Bucks team that was 20-29 at the time of the game.

1980-81

Eddie Johnson and Dan Roundfield were starters for the East from an Atlanta Hawks team that was 19-34 at the time of the game.

1993-94

Derrick Coleman and Kenny Anderson were starters for the East from a New Jersey Nets team that was 22-24 at the time of the game.

-Also worth nothing that in 2007, Dwayne Wayde and Shaquille O'Neal were starters for the East from a Miami Heat that was 26-26 at the time of the game, but the team was 23-25 when they were announced as starters.

It's embarrassing but at least you can say Kobe is having and all star year and D12 probably is the best C in the West.
