"Assuming Floyd's pockets are straight, what does he have to gain?"
Tue Jan-08-13 09:40 AM by AnonymousCoward

We keep asking him to fight bigger, stronger and YOUNGER fighters. If he beats them, we say they were overrated. There is no one out there who can help his legacy. All he can do is endanger his health and legacy.

If he hasn't squandered his loot, he should just retire.

Only fights left are canelo and Sergio
Neither would really change much with a win

Might as well call it a day honestly
While he still has his wits and record

From a technical standpoint probably the greatest of all time in the fact
Nobody was better at hitting and not being hit

But his resume when put up next to the other GOATS
Doesn't really hold much weight

Will def be a top 5 middle/welter ever
Probably a top 15 period anyway

He making well over 50 mil per fight at this
point

He seems like he's smart enough to know when to
stop

But there's still a bit too much money on the table

Until he loses. So at some point he's gonna have to go ahead and leave that money on the table, unless he wants to lose that perfect record.

especially one that basically documents his gambling addiction and splurging habits for all to see
fight once a year make 30 mil after taxes or whatever and chill
and floyd has said in numerous interviews that he isn't worried about legacy. he's fighting for the money and that's been consistent with some of the decisions he's made over his career so let him do him
yall asking questions he already gave the answer to

why he's going keep fighting bigger opponents is kind of obvious .....to maintain profits
as of now canelo's resume leaves much to be desired
but it's the biggest purse out there not involving pac/arum
if there were smaller fighters out there with an established gate presence like canelo at this point i'm sure he'd give them a look
