This finals would represent the ultimate matchup of skills vs talent

Spurs are regarded as the most cerebral team in the league and have been for a decade. The Heat have the two most talented players still left in the playoffs and both players have hit a stretch where they're playing better than they ever have since they became teammates.

The Spurs have easily been the best TEAM in the postseason and have been penciled in as the likely favorite to hoist up the trophy when its all said and done...but Miami has been the odds on favorite to win the title since the season began.

As a basketball purist, I would definitely prefer to see this series more than any other. From a fan perspective I'm sure the Heat vs OKC would be the ideal series.

In a series with two similar teams there is instant excitement as it is assumed that each will elevate their games higher.
I feel like when there are two opposing styles of basketball being played there is always a higher risk of the series going short.
It's so much easier for a team to feel defeated when playing against a different brand of ball.
Give me the "it'll be interesting to see how they play each other" series in the Conference rounds, unless it's Lakers/Celtics I don't really want it in the Finals.

That said,
I'd take any of these four matchups:
Two of these teams are looking to cement their legacies, the other two are beginning to build theirs. That's exciting.

attention to this last series vs Philly...

1st of all, they're banged up w/no real relief from their reserves

2nd of all, they go through looong stretches of not scoring which makes their games not fun to watch...and that applies double if they made it to the finals.

If they played the Spurs, that would be the 1st time ever that the Spurs would be considered the more exciting team in the championship.

enough to pull the average b-ball fan in to watch...

There's no one on either the Spurs or the Celtics that a non basketball fan would tune in to see. That would be a series for die hard hoops fans.

Now that he's an even better player than he was then coupled with the fact he's on a better team with far better teammates makes for an interesting series imo

so when it comes to the NBA finals...and 2ndly, I assume this post question was asked in regards to which finals would be potentially the most exciting/fun/dramatic/competitive series of all to watch...

and this brand of basketball the Celtics are playing IS NOT exciting/fun/dramatic to watch. No team left in the playoffs struggles as much as they do to put points on the board...and this was in the early rounds against inferior competition, what makes anyone think it'll be a good and interesting finals if they made it that far?
