"Alfonzo Dennard says fuck the police..punches a cop in the face" Sat Apr-21-12 11:04 AM by guru0509
First Mike Adams tests positive for weed at the combine...probably went from late first to early mid 2nd with this failed test...
(the 2008 Buckeye recruiting class...the gift that keeps on giving)
Some more bad news early Saturday as Nebraska cornerback Alfonzo Dennard was arrested for allegedly assaulting a police officer in Lincoln.
From the Omaha-World Herald: Lincoln police said Dennard, 22, was fighting with another man outside a bar near 14th and O Streets about 2:15 a.m. When officers attempted to intervene, Dennard allegedly pushed and then punched one officer in the face. It took four cops to take Dennard into custody, according to police. ... Dennard was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault on an officer and resisting arrest. He was also cited for third-degree assault in connection with the bar fight.
A first-team All-Big Ten selection in 2011, Dennard is projected as a second- or third-round pick in next week's draft. His stock seemed to drop in the predraft events, and his career ended on a down note when he was ejected from the Capital One Bowl for fighting with South Carolina receiver Alshon Jeffery.
Dennard is still a heck of a player who will find a home at the next level, but he didn't help his cause with his actions last night.
Still wouldn't mind him in Honolulu blue though...the secondary needs a complete overhaul...edit...4 cops? lol I'm surprised they didnt tase him.
1. "he's from the Marvin Sanders school of very physical DB play" In response to Reply # 0 Sat Apr-21-12 03:45 PM by DeepAztheRoot
I think Bombastic is really going to like his coaching technique
he's always been a very physical guy on field, and a bit moody off of it from what I have heard. The guy came from a small town, Rochelle GA, very little money, somewhat of a struggle growing up.....he always said he had a chip on his shoulder, somewhat because of that, somewhat because of his height
he's gotta be smarter than that with the draft coming up, people probably picked a fight on spec.....money changes things
