><================== MVP

It doesn't fit any agendas. He's not black. Folks like him. He's played in the fantasy football era and won folks $. And the super bowl validates most exaggerations to some. He's the most beloved 'stats' qb ever....similar to how Favre is nfl history's most beloved 'fuck up' qb.

I've said for years that if Peyton can't beat you presnap, he can't beat you...at least not regularly. And certainly not 'late in the play' if things don't go his way after the snap. As he's gotten older, it has gotten worse. He can't regularly make high-end adult qb throws anymore. And he was always a little shaky in that regard. It might be over.

He shouldn't be disregarded historically but he's somewhat obviously overrated by those that say he's the hands down best ever with his longevity and stats as his exhibits. He was grand conceptually like a coach can be. He clearly outworked the league for years.

BUT

9 one and dones, several poor big-game showings and lack of 'playmaking'...maaaan. And hey...he threw a pick six to cement a loss in a super bowl. And then he lost another super bowl 43-8. If that's his goofy little brother, down the flight of stairs Eli goes.

Since the division started.

He never had more than a good team to compete against there, and he routinely rolled up 4+ TD games against pure losers. He's the most overrated player in NFL history and the fact he was the MVP 5 times is a complete joke.

PLUS,his Super Bowl win was because they played Rex Grossman. And he played at best, pedestrian in that.

He's an Opey fucking turd

The whole super bowl playoff run was bad. I picked against them all 4 games. They had a edge rushing speed d that couldn't stop grown man runs unless Bob Sanders was upright. Herm and the Chiefs ran tosses and sweeps with Larry all game long. Ravens screwed the pooch on multiple short field possessions with McNair and a silly good defense..they were 13-3. They lost a field goal festival 15-9 or soemthin like that, and then they got the pats the year before Mawse and Welker got there and c- wrs dropped multiple wide open passes in key situations on Tommy. Then Rexaroo and the Bears...Thomas jones damn near had 100 yards in the first half. It was kinda raining. Then they decided to Rex it up. I've smalltime hated Lovie since then. Rhodes and Addai carried the colts that day. Oh I remember!

Dan Marino was 8-10 in the playoffs ...does that diminish his accomplishments?

-2007 was the last time they both met in the postseason during their primes & Peyton ended up leading the Colts to the largest comeback victory in a conference championship game EVER! He also clinched the victory on an 80 yard drive to which Tommy responded by throwing a game ending pick. Peyton's Revenge!

-Peyton also came out victorious in what might have been their last postseason match up in 2014.

-Besides, Brady's last Super Bowl victory dates back much further than Peyton's.

WHAT'S GOOD *****? What's REALLY good?!?!????!!! Ha HA!

of which rhodes should've gotten the game MVP, not the Golden Boy.

i'm not talking about manning vs. brady, so not sure why it was mentioned.

my intent was manning vs. anyone in the GOAT round table.

he ain't sitting at the head of it when it's all said and done.

nope, that's for reserved for the cat with a body of work that includes making the most special plays on the most special of days. stakes is high (c) de la

great career though.

>of which rhodes should've gotten the game MVP

Bears let Rhodes run all over them because they were playing an extreme version of their Tampa Two, with both safeties nowhere near the box. Chicago was determined not to give up any big vertical plays. see: Manning's first interception, when he tried to go over the top.

after that, Manning audibled to runs against a seven-man box and still completed some clutch throws on all their scoring drives. you think Chicago couldn't have stopped Rhodes and his 3.4 YPC if that was their focus? and a quarter of the team's 200 yards rushing came in the final 10 minutes of the game, up two scores and bleeding the clock.

by the literal sense, Manning was the MVP of that game.

They don't want to lose Gase...

So they would let Fox go and get another job...because like someone said above...he would have a job by the end of the day...

The Denver Broncos and coach John Fox have mutually agreed to part ways, a source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

The move comes a day after the Broncos were eliminated from the playoffs by the Indianapolis Colts.
