The injury bought him some time but it's been long enough now and he should be better. He still can't shoot, which makes him hesitant, which clogs up traffic for Love and Martin. Cats still playing 3 or 4 steps off him, no way that should still be happening.
I used to joke that the Wolves should stick him in the Summer League and make him practice gunning with no passing but that couldn't hurt at this point. He's overated on D too. He can pick a few pockets but he's far from a stopper on the perimeter.

Rubio on the other hand isn't as quick & has no floater to speak of at the moment. Rondo usually makes his set-shots when he's in rythme via being in scoring mode & attacking the basket meanwhile Rubio is out there shooting 15ft set-shots when he's 0-5. If you look at it, Rubio is actually a very good free-throw shooter unlike Rondo....he just needs to be more consistent w/ his shooting technique since he changes it up from week-to-week.
