You could offer them all the help in the world if they are stubborn & seen no fault then it's futile. The hard headed have to hit rock bottom to believe it.

Don't get me wrong if he has an alcohol problem that's a serious issue, but he has had someone in the car with him on more than 1 of these arrests.
His friends are letting him throw his life away (yes it's still his responsibility ultimately). He clearly has no ability to make the right decisions on his own.

I know plenty of folks who mess w/ knuckleheads damn well knowing they are a bunch of idiots but they just refuse to acknowledge it b/c they want that lifestyle.
A grown ass man who drives himself to a location where he's going to consume excessive amount of alcohol isn't going to use Uber. My co-work talks openly about how he drives under the influence but dude damn well is aware of Uber & how to use it but still chooses not to use it. The guy is a nerd & a family man.
