i really cant blame him @ all. This guy is a HoF caliber receiver. that hes toiled in relative obscurity for the Texans, no complaints, no issues...just going out & executing season after season & to see it come to...this?
really sad. i wish we had won him a chip by now. i hope he goes in as our first hall of famer.

who im sure deserved it and I wasn't mad at dre whatsoever.
Dre and Decker as the top 2 receivers, Amaro at TE, and CJ2K and Ivory splitting carries is about 10,000,000 times better than the weapons we had last year, regardless of who the QB is.

I dont know how the Jets are the greener side of the fence. Even if the Jets are getting better, they didnt make playoffs the last 3 years.
Don't get me wrong, I would like Dre on my team. I just think the idea of it is a reach.

we were 8-8 last year, we have a great defense that just added a first round pick at one of their big weaknesses, and just added three other offensive weapons, plus a backup QB that's better than anyone on the Texans.
We may not be the most appealing option, but I think we're more appealing than Houston.

I mean, I *understand* what he's saying...but no on deserves shit. SJax deserves to not have wasted his be(a)st (see what I did there?) years with the sorry ass Rams...but shit happens.

he has been well compensated for his efforts and will one day get a bust in Canton and the Texans dont owe him shit nor should they make any kind of plans or decisions with him in mind. If they feel they are better off not moving him or getting a competent qb at this time so be it, hes getting paid to be there.
That being said, itd be nice to see such a great receiver play with a great qb once in his career, it is a shame someone of his talent wont get the opportunity. As a fan, it is something that would be nice to see.
He is a win now player at this point that is on a team that is not going to win anything now. If the team isnt planning on trading for Mallet or something or if Dre doesnt want to be there and he is willing to take a pay cut to make it happen, they should trade him.

He can do the NBA vet thing and take a big cut in order to shoot for a chip, or he can go to a young non-contender and hope he sticks around long enough to turn them into one.

don't know if Houston is willing to move him, even if they are that salary might make it tough for Houston....now if he's released, all bets are off, COME HOME ANDRE!!!!!!!
