He seems to be equating scholarship students with scholarship student-athletes. As if they both generate the same amount of revenue for the university.
His tone in general is also a problem. It'd be a lot better if his wording didn't sound so smug. For example, he didn't mean the quote about Shabazz to sound dismissive, but his phrasing made him sound sarcastic.
