The best age is two
Being an adult wears thin like see through
The world seems easier and more fun when it revolves around you
Ignorance is bliss but life isn't easy once you realize what's true.....

Stay a child for as long as u can/growning up is overrated/sandbox wars
treasure hunts/
aint nothing better than mud pies an' hide and seek/having our own
language/giggling when
we clog up tha kitchen sink/the best brownies made by Easy Bake
Ovens/playground shovin/
monkey bar lovin/kickball playmates on saturday going to tha skating
rink/laughing cuz hootie
feet stank/

Playing atari asteroids until you're blue in the face
With friends you race
Door to door collecting pop bottles
Cash for comic books and X ray goggles
stuffing 5cent candies in your face
bandaids all over the place
Not cause of boo boos cause you loving how they stick
Having Mamma and Pappa cuddling you when your sick
Amazed when they steal your nose what a trick
Back before the days when your hormones caused you to be led by your dick

in my youth i chased butterflies behind oak trees
in my youth i dreamed of fairys and castles by the sea
in my youth heaven was a perfect mud pie and forever was tomorrow.
in my youth trees were mountains to be climbed and conquered

in my youth I rolled down hills of grass and dandylions
in my youth I dreamt of adventure and the treasure of Mayans
in my youth heaven was in the arms of parents when they weren't fighting
in my youth life was an endless summer day filled with exciting play
"

Guess who's Back

exciting
traveling through
the mind
of mine own beginnings
learning laughter
through the pain
of yesterdays tomorrow
(pause reflect)
yes i find breath and life
in right now
only to realize
what i had in my youth
is still the moment of now
longing to be released
by mine own imagination... free again
