She is unable to straighten

A frown outlines her mouth
Excessive doses of disappointment
Her smile removed

Eyes left without emotion
Matters of the heart are distant
She stares into dark places in her mind

Spirit lifted
Body illuminating
Smile radiant

She dances into another dimension
Her struggle is over
