an open letter to my brother

They are different people now than the ones who raised us/
Continuously,watering the new world choking past traditions
Eyes open to seeing new prospectives of life/
No not totally transformed still have remnants of the core but the core is where we Connect and manifest similar fruits /

To honour them is a blessing and I'm experiencing such/
A new type of love a new level of respect and understanding
to shed light on the soil of their backgrounds and past relationships and lack of the former void/

The generational and cultural gap is not a wall any longer/
Your missing out a little/

However, some of what I've witnessed will sow seed unto my future family

Some lessons are learned some are taught all is lived if you engage
