Shaken like tiny black specks loosely falling into an abyss of my darkest thoughts I make attempts to pick up the fragile spirit lost in unfulfilled dreams Unpleasant departures closer to my heart than I prefer are contained in Self-sabotaging indulgences that leave me wounded beyond simple repair Lessons are likely to be learned of this journey if I allow silence to be held long enough In the meantime I will indulge in a cup of my favorite brew two tablespoons of cream no sugar More writing and reflecting
