Yesterday we flowed freely
For the first time in months
I was open and you were receptive

The noise in between the silence was lifted
An elixir of honestly removed
The sound bites, small talk and strained conversations
Transitions and choices had been made
Our spirits were in sync and agreed
No push or pull
Less of you Less of me More of God
Will create a better we
As I learn how to love and be loved
