Tightly tucked away in distant places and spaces We found our way back into each other's heart Minutes hours days and months have passed I find myself wanting you more
The steady flame that warms my soul You inspire my flow and brighten my eyes Maybe this is all a fantasy Being played out with a very real love
For my true love is you I, you and we are real Although distance keeps us apart I wake and sleep with you in my head and heart
This morning I woke Your spirit whispered sweetly It is time to let go now Gently and lovingly You set me free

Thank you for your words and yes true love should be set free; not caputured, controlled and based on unreasonble conditions.

Thank you for your feedback and yes true love is be bittersweet. I prefer to be reminded of the sweetness. In my opinion it doesn't make letting go easier or less painful; however it allows me to be grateful for having experienced the sweetness of true love and that it is mine to have freely if I beleive.
