"Take Me"

God put us back together
and I ain't mad about it.
We took a hiatus.
Love can be too intense sometimes.
It can make you run from those
who love you the most.
A reintroduction to the cold world
can provide clarity
about who we want in our lives
and who can give us that warmth.
A duality between the body and soul.
Love isn't a chemical reaction.
It's a decision to stand by the person
who wants to write their life story with you.
Make me feel like we did when we first fell in love.
Take me.

I felt this. I loed your tone and the strength of feeling. Nice work. and congrats!

*sidenote- as far as the technical stuff, I don't think it needed the last line. Kinda summed it up in the previous line, but nonetheless good work!

I have to agree with ThaAnthology ... the tone of this pCe was strong & firm -- while at the same time *HeartWarming* & Smile~Inducing.

And tho you could've left off that last line "TAKE ME" ... it kinda wrapped it up and brought us back to the Subject title ... so I ain't mad atcha! --

while the piece is all together poignant I have to say these words stood alone
