We are locked in this room Out of choice and necessity It's hot and people are terrified I'm terrified
The door and locks are made of steel We should be safe…for now This intense fear produces the strongest silence The silence allows us to hear the moans of our worst nightmares
The moans of the walking dead I don't know what happened I just remember treating a patient in the E.R. She had a 120 degree fever… unfuckingbelieveable
She flat lined and was pronounced dead at 2:04am I took my hour lunch break at 4am I took a power nap in the lunch room Woke up at 4:55 and all hell had broken loose
Shots are being fired people are running and screaming Blood is smeared on the ground and walls The same woman that was pronounced dead is alive again But now she's biting people and eating them.
Every person she bites turns into some kind of zombie Just like in the movies… except this is not a movie...this is a poem They say you're supposed to shoot them in the head But I don't have a gun so I don't know how true that is.
The bitten turn into zombie's very quickly So fast that I lost count of how many there were This entire hospital could be zombiefied by now I didn't know zombies could run….isn't that against the zombie rules?
So here I am…stuck in this maintenance room With a nurse and janitor The nurse has passed out from the shock of this situation The janitor has a bite on his arm and he's trying to hide it
I'm looking for something to defend myself with Because I know I'm going to have to kill him soon But as far as I know We are the last of the living….for now.
