"Sign yo name!"

Periodically we do these meet and greet posts. We introduce ourselves, where we are from and what we do.

This time I'm thinking a lil differently.

I really want to meet every single one of you all as if for the first time. No vets, no legends, no newbies, no titles whatsoever.

This palace is a living library of the best work in the U-N-I-Verse.

So: Assignment (lol)

In Subject place name, Birth place, and style...

ex: ThaAnthology aka Fahim, Queens Poet/Emcee

and inside, a quick haiku or a hot 8 describing yourself. your loves, hates passions and loves.

end it off with what you post here for, so we know. If you're looking to improve, we know to check for you. If you're looking for honest critiques (honesty is as honesty does...it doesn't mean be cruel.), if you are looking to perfect your spit style, perhaps post links to the performance piece so we can hear the delivery. If you want to battle, we'll set 'em up.

so now we'll know who we are, our different levels of growth and our objectives.

I will leave this anchored period. So as new folk come to the board, they can add on.

What up family. I love yall and I also love those to come. I'm a christian rapper. My name is really NR Hunt and it doesn't stand for anything. Introduced to da site by Zin. I used to work with him. I'm 20 years of age. I've always been a christian but I came on this site battling hard. I decided to get serious with my faith and went completely gospel. My rap name is 2LETTAS (2 Live Encouraging The Truth Aquireing Salvation) I rap everwhere. My album is almost complete. God has blessed me with an amazing gift. I rap but I truly believe my gift is doing spoken word. I come to this site to bless everyone. I love feed back no matter negative or positive. It will only make me more effective. I have so many rhymes so here is just something random

Okay playas, I got love for You God, and I got love for the fans
Tell em all bout Christ to get the blood off my hands
Since the world is ours (hours), my mind shifts timezones
Prayin to the Father, my knees hit the ground like pinecones
When trials is gettin hard and temptations get enlarged
I allow the Holy Spirit to take charge just like credit cards
Winning souls all night, I spit to keep the wic flaming
Like bank accounts cuz every time I'm CHECKING Jesus is SAVING
The medical got a fraction of humans shifting to transexual
I didn't see the point, so I switched to a decimal
We bomb the nation with abominations that's unacceptable
When two or more are gathered, Christ will turn up like da vegetable
Got lions "lying" in a cage to let the truth loose
Christ is the best, hands down like using a bluetooth

Please do me a favor and give me feedback on all my posts because it helps. I do shows all the time and sometimes am on tv. Honest critism is valued by me and I'm humble enough to accept. I love yall. BE AND STAY BLESSED

Greetings. I come in pieces...
I'm your imaginery friend...

Have you ever had a date with a pipe dream?
Would you ever levitate with a mind freak?
Would you ever kiss a thought in the dark lost in emotion?
Would you play hide and go seek?

Well baby, I be doing a lot of wishing with a pocket of lottery tickets but I've got a mission like a guided missile. The promise-land I invison wasn't promised man. What, you're high and twisted? That means I'm grinding pimping. That means I'm minding business. Work out the kinks till the plan gets fool-proof then transform like werewolves at full moon. Gotta till the land for full bloom and that's after you plant the seed. We all want the rewards before the challenge's complete...sometime by circumstance or perchance...somewhere between deja vu and daydreams where intuition and indecision meet to critique epiphanies...twitching knees. I'll tickle your thoughts with a stroke of genius. Its soul kinetic telekinesis. We're so connected. And that's hard to get like a card trick but practice makes perfect...GOOD JOB SKILLS

NOTTY IS SMART. U R 2!

The underbelly of society is ridin me
Filling me with lies on how to rule in this monopoly, without luck.
My stomach stuck, stack to the top with empty calories
No nutrients protecting my existence from the fallacies.
Get a job, working check to check, money spent
Never saving, barely scraping up the dough you need for rent.
Music gotta get me out or the juggernaut will do me in
Transformation to Grand Puba, a Brand Nubian.

This is my first time posting and I do it to better my flow and get some honest feedback.

Soulstarr is the name
And im new to this ish
Been writing, singing, acting
Since the age of six
A real lady like diva
So you never would expect it
Open my mouth and words come out
You never could have guessed it
Held my talents deep inside
For way to many years
Afraid of ridicule
From my family and peers.
The arts are my passion.
But just lookin you could never tell
A burning desire deep inside
Feels like my soul is in hell.
I want to entertain but on the small stage
But I know that cant happen if I want to get paid.

I dont know what the future holds but I'm living in the moment....

Forgive me for giving you a cut and paste copy of a mass message but yeah...here you go...

I am writing to ask that you consider volunteering your time, life and work to a couple students who are putting together a night of poetry here on the campus of Hampton University. Their budget is EXTREMELY limited (if any exsist at all) but I am hoping that someone will step up and come out to show and share their talents so this "new wave" of spoken word artists and poets can get a taste of the "old school scene". I know many of you have "made it" and may not work for free but...yeah...never forget where you come from.

The event is November 28th here at Hampton University in the beautfiul Student Center Ballroom. More info is available at their myspace page which I have mentioned below.

I'll be hitting up some of my closer friends individiually but if any of you are interested in visiting our "Home by the Sea", please hit up Nikieta or Stephan directly at http://www.myspace.com/saracen_speaks or holla back at me.

Thank you for even considering...or not but reading this bulletin!!!

Love you all and I miss the way things were...maybe one day I'll be back...Lord willing...

I may not be saying anything that hasn't been said before, but I may be saying something that someone's never heard before.

i'm really not sure why i'm here anymore (but, i have a hunch). i still love to read and become inspired and comment here and there when i feel it's most necessary. i cannot leave Free, i've tried, but i keep coming back. it's home. it's familiar. it's apart of me.

i write cause i have too many words in my head. they spill out in the morning when i put on my clothes and stream of consciousness pours down the drain of the shower i sing my words and daydream about rapping and singing onstage to fresh new beats made of a bass guitar and a drum machine. i write cause i have too many words in my head. they spill out sometimes reading fat and ugly and the more i push em in the more they manifest in the counting of calories so i concentrate on other things like rhymes and basslines. i'm the white girl who says hip hop changed her life. it's kinda funny i used to listen to jam bands but i wasn't feeling the drugs now i listen to rap music but i'm not feeling the thugs. i keep it versatile listening to rap rock and roul reggae jazz and soul rhythm and blues and i make my own too. if ya wanna listen i can send you a song i'm tryin to start a myspace but this upload form is takin way too long.

my name is Omer. i was born in Doha, lived in canada for most of my life... and now im back in Doha. ummm ya

looking for feedback. mostly jus want to get my work out there. i dont think i wanna go anywhere with it... jus wanna be heard.

im not into rhyming too much... i find that it holds me back. looking for the right word to rhyme with, kinda annoying, and sounds corny to me (no offense)

heres a poem i wrote:

The Wind

carry me off into the horizon
floating, the world beneath me
arms spread, suddenly I'm falling
blood racing, the wind decides to save me

the clearest of days, mentally and spiritually
i can smell nothing except you
i close my eyes, its still you
the wind tempts me to call your name

perched on the highest rock, above an ocean
waiting for a sign, for hours it seems
the wind blows faster, i hear your voice
into the ocean, surrounded by light

I'm there, inches from you
close enough to feel your breath
close enough to touch your face
close enough... but you don't see me

everything leads me to you
the wind and the stars, all whisper your name
my mind wanders, always comes back to your face
i can feel your breath... but the wind takes me away

peace

Im the prolific truth seeker poet mc from toronto. My artstyle varies from written word, spoken word, painting etceteras..

im 20 years old and this is my fifth year on these boards
ive written over five hundred pages of poetry
and am interested in messages of harmony among dischord
but vary in style from rugged thug shit to introspective hallucinatory prose. People often mistake my tone for abstract when I actually experience what I write.

Currently Im living in toronto, canada, and am watching my friends and peers grow in their music and day to day lives...Im on a brand new tip vocally so im just waiting to come through with the next cd

My flow's like ya one true love,
Only thing that can top it is the love from above,
Not thug,
I dream constantly of things I discuss,
Poetic- never hood cause that's not what I'm from.
Never claimin a street life cause I live in the subs,
But music is my language,
Hip hop is my one.

What's goin on yall, my names Real1ty and I represent the 912. I'm a kid who was born in the suburbs and found hip hop at the age of 13. I owe my life to Tupac Shakur, not directly, but his lyrics saved my life at one time. I am tryna make it in the industry and I feel that I have something to say. I want to bring back the old sound that the game once had, and still does to some extent, although it's using it's quiet voice at the moment. We got rappers like Black Thought, Talib Kweli, Common, and so many other poets and great emcees that we gotta make THEM the mainstream and people like 50 Cent the underground. I mean I love underground, but I'd love to see those rappers I just mentioned get the recognition they deserve from the public. I have so much respect for them it's not even funny.

I guess that's my introduction, and I'm lookin forward to gettin to read some of yalls work. Much love.

- Real1ty

more complex than Macbeth, so i challenge your masculinity

I been here too long to introduce myself anymore...LOL jaykay.

I am a writer by nature and an artist by choice. I call my style FREEstyle because it has no real conformities. I let whatever God gives me at that moment eminate through this here screen

honestly one of the dopest female emcees you'll ever lay ears on...not cause I said it...but cause I heard it

I come here to channel my crazy and communicate with my scribers. Writer's Block was my introduction to OKP and has been the window into a world of gratitude, appreciation, criticism, actual friendship, connection, hurt, agony, love and even hate

i am a published writer/visual artist/interior designer/rapper/producer/etc

basically i have no left brain. LOL

I started many moons ago as abysmal....my signature response is keep shining because it takes a light to write (don't steal that)

I write music in tune
with summer months and June,
I wear my wedding ring like a prize
but from the looks I been getting I wonder why
Why, I, fantasize about how she hugged me
and daydream of the way she used to whisper that she loved me
I measure success in verses to blues songs I've written,
Not with a pen, but instead with the path I've chosen to walk,
I vibrate in harmony with the music that I create, not with the guitar string but with the finger that touches it. I dance to the emotion that results in the beat you hear, and then I vocalize the point, but if you are open to it you already knew what feeling I was expressing.
Internal dreams in an external world; black and white posters on my technicolor walls,
Watch the swan dance beneath the moon and sway
to beats and songs that you love but never hear played..

Ha.. not sure how that'll come out, its from like seven different pieces.. basically I'm just here to express and share what I write, which due to the fact that generally doesn't have any form, this is the only place I have with which to share this shit. Most of it sucks; occasionally its hot. I've tried jumping on a mic with several different groups but my delivery is still weak, so I fuck with it here and in my room where no one can hear it.

Besides, most of the mentors I've had artistically were here. I've been here for six (almost seven?) years. Crazy.

i daydream
and create my own fictional world
briefly interrupted from time to time
by reality
i mumble when it calls for shouting
stutter when it calls for eloquence
and do nothing when called to action
that waste of potential your mama warned you about?
i'm all up in dat ass

I post here because the voices here are much kinder than the voices in my head.

...motivational speaker who now lives in Hampton, VA. I've been a poet but am in a dry spell...rain on me.

Music gets me high
People are my passion though
I love God the most

Maybe it's just my haikus but they never seem to flow...are they supposed to flow...? I've got the count but it just feels like three lines of of fragments or incomplete sentences...blah, blah, blah...

Okay so, I rarely come here anymore because I barely write poetry anymore...I miss it...I come here whenever something does come up and hope to share a piece of myself and gain more inspiration...most times I lurk with dreams of catching a spark of the fire that burns here...maybe one day I'll be a "performance poet" (that would take me writing again I suppose...) I intend to write and perform a one-woman show within the next couple years so...I guess I'd better get started...

I may not be saying anything that hasn't been said before, but I may be saying something that someone's never heard before.

I post because I love okayplayer. I hope to one day be a charter member or an okay artist or something. lol I really want, or maybe even need, honest feedback and opinions about my music. I am looking to perfect my work because though it is soul/heart felt, I would like people to be able to understand and identify with what I'm talking about or where I'm coming from. I'll battle, I'll write, I'll perform, I'm up for whatever to develop and mature my skills. Ya'll can send me messages and say I NEED YOU ON THIS and I'm at it. You send me the track and that's my work til it's done. Ya dig?
Thanks to ThaAnthology for even posting this. I look forward to hearing from my fellow Okayplayers and representing you well in the musically/poetically artistic world a.k.a hiphop and entertainment.

Marcus writes, types, recites anything that night beholds or the mic unloads.
Bestowed with humility that clashes with a natural ability,
I usually struggle to believe people when they say that they are "feelin me..."
S'probably why I never aspired, or maybe I was too lazy to do the things that were required,
To become knighted in the "royalty" of writers
You know, hang tight with the Kings and Sires, or the Queen and Dutchess,
But believe I am here for critism, long as its constructive.
Productive,
See thats how I try to live,
I volunteer in schools to teach these kids that they HAVE a voice,
That they HAVE a choice in how they speak up
or speak out,
and that they are the reason that
PEACE
is never...

OUT.

Use ta write graf,
but now I'm too old,
gotta make a buck,
so I write code,
to try and stay alive,
I gotta buy the time,
so every now and then,
I try and bust a rhyme.

Big fan of hip-hop, just another case of that old PTA. Write code for a living, rhymes for fun,

I'm an e=mc squared
since my birth in the big bang
til i dispersed through atmosphere

immerse myself in the learnin, murmurin om
burnin the candle at night
in the caverns of my churning dome

only murder with mics through compassion
to turn into light
those lackin the motivation to change their darkness
with insight

Descended through invisible to reach my etheric core
breathed life in my heart space,
Now you're hearing a beacon roar

P.S. Yes, the synesthesia is intended in the last line...

we all had GO in common
no pause, just play
where go the commas?
we go now in comas
toes toastin' the cold feelin' of death.
no stress, just fractured realism
no colorful language, just the strange absence of prisms
done wit dwellin' in the depth of the well of how so & so did 'em
now those very folks killin,' curiosity to summon the ghost of obviously
no more carnal captivity in exchange for animosity
my heart keeps beatin' my soul like 4 cocky cops...
probably, 'cause it's racin....

it's change i'm embracin'

I am an ambassador
a diva of wisdom
In my own right
My light shines upon
Ink that drops signatures
That declare the end to your war
Treaties signed within
My space live in infamy
My mind can be your treasury
Invest in my government
Let my heart take authority
Over your soul with grace
Diplomatically
you profess your dreams to me
And I listen, plan and execute
This new world order
Takes shape and reflects
The love you show for me
Within me is you
I am humanity.
I am your community.
Respect me, bless me.
For I am your ambassador.

I’m a studio gangsta
Doing things like a studio wanksta
I’m not better than your favorite rapper,
I admit it, yet I still go ahead and spit it
I still eat microphones like it’s my last meal,
I do it for fun, man, that’s my deal
Yeah, I am a backpacker
I don’t count stacks and I am a wack rapper

I'm here to perfect the way I work in the studio. I'm all about making albums.

The words paint pictures--of Tupac, Biggie
Abu-Jamal, Queen Assata Shakur, New Jeru, and NYCity.
Encompassin'- love, hate, apathy and the passion
of a life motion picture - vocals the closed caption.
Natural reaction to this, the heart pumpin'
for a new beat to step to - music for mind clubbin'.
the locks picked to third eyes by strange sounds,
we contact severin' heads of sad clowns...

Basically, the reason I'm getting on okayplayer is to meet other people who are who are into real good soulful hip hop. The only way to keep in the loop is to be in the loop. I figure here's where I'd meet a lot of cool heads, and go from there... I am not much of a battle emcee, but I'll entertain the challenge if brought to me (as long as it's talent based)...

Charlie aka the next generation
16 years old, chicago man.....everything i write has a hot flow and i got a message between the lines mostly, anything from poetry to 16 get at me.

Hip hop, My fault, we just got disconnected,
You passed on, flows perfected,
Thriller, Tupac Ressurected,
I won every ring i stepped in
MC's worst enemy, unsigned, rejected?
Forget it, cuz you know i'm only sixteen,
I'm two and a half lyricists, Charlie Sheen
Fresh and clean, and my words age right with me
So I'm not the best now, I'll be the greatest at 50

I am here because I heard alot of good things about this site....I am hoping to elevate my game further, get some honest critique of my art, and maybe do a lil battling.....

I been the realest nigga to ever spit in a minute,
from beginning to the ending, revolution is impending//
not pretending to be somethin im not, my only claim's that im hot,
natural flames that will gain me a spot//
alot of ppl say my thoughts thats out the frame should be cropped,
but im not, gonna retract, my weapon is word fact//
Im rap, hip hop, r&b and pop,
jazz, punk and blues, are you confused?//
dude, listen you'll understand my movement,
actions speak louder so my mission's to prove it//
most of these hip hop heads remain useless,
scarred by the norm & can't get rid of the bruises//
like eddie griffin, they steady remain foolish,
can't even measure coke but hollerin 'they do this'//
need to acknowledge the power of our music,
take the public's ear and fill it with revolution

check me out on myspace...

I'm here to read (and once I ease out of my shell, I'll comment more).

I also hope to post up and participate in writing exercises.

If I posted exercises, for both poetry and prose, would people participate?

The underbelly of society is ridin me
Filling me with lies on how to rule in this monopoly, without luck.
My stomach stuck, stack to the top with empty calories
No nutrients protecting my existence from the fallacies.
Get a job, working check to check, money spent
Never saving, barely scraping up the dough you need for rent.
Music gotta get me out or the juggernaut will do me in
Transformation to Grand Puba, a Brand Nubian.

This is my first time posting and I do it to better my flow and get some honest feedback

THIS IS "BLACKOUT STUDIOS RECORDING ARTIST" JSOUL SLIDING THROUGH AND PRESENTING MY LATEST AND HUMBLE OFFERING TO THE R&B SOUL HIP-HOP GAME. THE ALBUM IS CALLED "LOVE SOLDIER" NOT A TYPICAL ALBUM FROM MODERN STANDPOINTS BUT IT DOES HAVE SOME FAMILIAR CONTEMPORARY TOUCHES BLENDED WELL WITH SOME CUTTIN EDGE FUSION OF SORTS. I BELEIVE IT TO BE A GOOD LISTEN FROM FRONT TO BACK. HOWEVER I'LL LEAVE MYSELF OPEN TO YOU THE OKAYPLAYER NATION, TO LET ME KNOW WHAT YA THINK.

I HOPE TO BE ON TOUR WITH ERIC ROBERSON AND FERTILE GROUND SOON IN A CITY NEAR YOU SO YOU'LL BE ABLE TO EXPERIENCE HOW I DO WHAT I DO LIVE. IT IS THE REAL DEAL. OR IF YOU WANT CHECK FOR ME AT YOUR LOCAL PERFORMANCE VENUES. I'LL BE HUSTLIN AND PROMOTING THIS ALBUM REALLY HARD SO HOPEFULLY AT SOME POINT YOU WILL HAVE HEARD OF ME.

YOU CAN CHECK ME OUT AT www.myspace.com/jsoulsounds AND LET ME KNOW WHAT YA THINK. I VALUE ALL OF YOUR INSIGHT AND I LOOK FORWARD TO HEARING FROM YOU

Electric Church Music
(after Jimi Hendrix)

Lay me on the altar. The crick, crack snap
of the wood under my back moves me. I dance
the memories of Bojangles and Little Black
Sambo – pie eyed, dough faced and sassafras sweet.
I wanna write the rhythms. I wanna know my song.
I gotta tell myself that the words aren’t perfect at first stab.
Sometimes the music in my head can’t fit inside the pen.
Sometimes the beat inside my fingers can’t tap
the ink in fast enough and I pray I can slide down
the shaft, channel the dusk of my life into drums and get free.

Its not often i post in the forums...but i love the idea.

Anyway, 25-year-old in the Queen City trying to make it. My style, most folks say it resembles Corrine Bailey Rae w/ a hint of Baduizm in the mix, along w/ a dash of good soul music. Been actively pursuing my music for over 4 years now. I finally just put up a myspace page so check it out on your leisure time www.myspace.com/lucesymone , and tell me how you like it. By the way, its still a working progress.
Hope to work with any of you okplayer heads here.

Yeah I bought your CD, and I saw your hardcover /
But I want my paperback, I don’t believe you at all brother! /
Quit your yappin, your lines are whack by design /
While my rhymes are outta sight like Im rappin for the blind /
Nicknames elevator cause Im on another level /
I rock more than a pebble, underground like the devil /
Competition is nun so its not just white and black /
Dissin Imperial will Force my Empire to Strike Back /
Speak easy on free beats courtesy of MP, 3 /
Emcees will defeat thee, wont believe me till you CD’s /
Skills, in less than 8-TRACKs you get verbally sprayed down /
No guns though, so I wont bus a round like Greyhound /
You say you’re keeping it real but you lion like the Sphinx /
Only heavy metal you hold is in your blood, iron and zinc /
My venoms like denim because its in my genes /
And my rhymes are so phat I might split the seams /

Just to fill you guys in on some info: the line about "not just white and black", Im asian = yellow; "Imperial" is the name of our friend's (soon to be) production company; "MP, 3" = Michael Petey, who is our producer and there's 3 emcees in our group

I only started writing/ rapping about 3 or 4 months ago so any criticism is welcome. Keep in mind, I just took snippets from two different songs so it might not flow from bar to bar as nice as it normally would in the real thing. Bring on your opinions though!

They say the time we living in a gift from God/ call it the present/ I'm the present to present time/ call me the gif/ bust, like a 5th uplift/ what I leave you/ a line, so divine it should be written in Hebrew/ turn bricks to bread and feed you/ with a message I hope that you take heed to and breed through/ preaching like I was put here to lead you/ brothers with bids are countless so if I give you a pound it won't be sixteen ounces

Hear the album "View Of A Loser From On Top Of The World" @ www.reverbnation.com/gif Of course here's the Myspace: www.myspace.com/dagif

I'm here to share my music, essays, and performances. People can respond to it how they please. I'm not adverse to criticism so if there's something someone feels I need to work on, let it be known. I've heard about the hate that floats through out Okayplayer boards, I have friends that call it Okayhater. I've seen the hate, but I've also seen the love. I had a dude see a verse I wrote in the freestyle section cop my album and give it an ill ass review(Posted below this mini essay I've written here courtesy of www.freehiphopnow.com). My music is my reality so it could never be wack. Though I love it when niggas like what I do, I don't do it for that reason. I do it cause I feel like my head will explode if I don't. It's like they say, pressure bust pipes, that shit has to come out some how.

View Of A Loser From On Top Of The World” - GIF - Hunter Walker

After listening to his debut album ‘View of A Loser From On Top Of The World’ it is instantly clear that Gif is an artist whose music defies categorization. Gif uses his incredible gift for rhyming to discuss many diverse themes including politics, relationships, and religion. The intelligence and insight embedded throughout Gif’s lyrics place him in sharp contrast to most mainstream MC’s. At the same time, although socially aware Gif’s rhymes are not imbued with the unrelenting positivity that is often characteristic of so-called “conscious” MC’s such as Common. Gif’s voice is honest, real, and refreshing; he readily admits to his faults and frustrations, he is hopeful, but not unnaturally upbeat. Similarly, the beats he has chosen for this album also challenge audience expectations. Some of these tracks would be easily classified as radio ready street bangers while others display more underground sensibilities.

Gif’s music cannot be readily defined using traditional hip hop terminology, but I can definitely come up with a succinct description of this album; damn good. His genre-bending sound is innovative, a shot in the arm to a hip hop scene which lately seems determined to rehash the same series of themes. Gif’s unique and visionary approach to hip hop ensures that this is an album that will appeal to listeners with a wide variety of tastes. It is only a matter of time before someone in the industry catches on to Gif and one can only hope that success does not rob him of the distinctive qualities that make this first album so special.

I'm here to share and get feedback. Check out the site http://web.mac.com/hkbeverly

Here's a sample:

Life's Recipe

I can't let this life get the best of me
I gotta try different things to form my recipe
I recommend it, it's a good meal for everyone
You savor it, your taste buds are sure to have fun
It's real nutritious and it's real good for your soul
You can enjoy it if you young and even if you old
Sometimes it's spicy and you gotta be a little bold
But either way you gotta love the taste
I eat it up it's not a bit that I'm tryna waste
Come on and fill my plate
For dinner I am never late
I'm filling up like I'm eating at a buffet
I love it like I love dinner on a Sunday
On a Monday or any day of the week
A free meal and you can choose what you wanna eat
Just try it
I bet the taste will knock you off your feet...

Let me introduce myself...AfternoonDelight aka Toota. Toota is a family and High School used Nickname. We won't go into the meaning behind it!
I attended the High School of Art and Design-back in the '70's! I am an artist by nature and by trade. I started the illustration side of my talent by drawing pictures on the wall of my childhood bedroom. Oh, I was born and raised in The Bronx aka Da Bronx. In Junior High there were specialized classes for those with certain talents. This included as follows the brainy kids, the bratts aka bullies, the music talents and of course the art class.
In High School I majored in Illustration and Advertising. As the years went by I found that I had many hidden artistic talents. So I introduce myself as a graphic artist, painter-love those oils, craft artist, jewelry designer, seamtress, web page designer, dancer-yes I let loose on the dance floor "back in the day", poet. It is the poetry side I wish to share here in Okayplayer.
I'm posting my poems for the enjoyment of the reader.
Be Blessed and Loved!

Peace my name is Precise. I’m an Emcee/Producer from Chicago IL. I stopped by the message board to introduce myself and ask for you to take the time to hear my music. I am considered to be one of the premier artists out of the midwest. I have a lyrical style that is loaded with substance. I strive to use my music to act as an uplifting tool and a teacher to those who wish to gravitate towards it.

Hello all! I’m a Soul Artist from the Midwest, decided to join hoping to get some inspiration. Leave me feedback good or bad!

What it is about her
That got them wanting so much
Her flow is like a star you got to touch

She feels before she speak
To deep for others to reach
Causing intimidated gestures
And a bumpy replied speech

Her body curves
And her skin has color
her sweet scent hypnotizes like no other

She step before she stroll
With a beat no other can control
Her eagle’s wings
Spread as wide as her Soul

*Feelin good about being here
Peace and Blessings

who am i?
i'm a soul who is lost but found/
i'm simple yet profound/
i'm here to modestly astound/
i'm in the sky with my feet on the ground/
i'm loud but i make no sound/
my skill can be measured by the foot or the pound/
"what is perception?" is the question i perceive/
do i sense the same as you or does my mind deceive?

no more needs to be said.

whats up ya'll (sorry, from the south). just introducing myself here. I've posted a few times in the past but have never made a formal introduction. My birth name is Chris, but i've adopted the name Serious Black for mic checkin'. I've been writing rhymes for about 4 years, but became serious about it last year. Recently set up a myspace page and started recording tracks, but it's definitely still all about the lyrics! I wanna share my work and appreciate you guys work as well, peace.

After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music.

He died for hip hop, he was a proletariat
Had a dream, but only hope to carry it
Loved the game, one day he hoped to marry it
Now sitting proud ridin out on golden chariots

There he is, sent with god speed
To sentence the thieves that ended his dreams
And amend for his need to ascend and achieve
He pretended to heed but in the end would proceed

To unchartered territories, felt hells fury
Victory but wishin he had had a better glory
He couldn’t hide, he was livin jecklys story
Faulted hero, alter ego, he was torn, see

Now, his shadow wasn’t part of him either
So pardon the heathen that started to reason
Being that higher beings are hard to believe in
He spoke with the snake in the garden of edan

thats my shit, let me know what u think

what up, OKP!
20 year-old-college girl. I love poetry/spoken word, hip hop, clothes, and working in the non-profit sector. I am also wondering what happened to the poetry movement as mentioned in above posts, and I like people. Looking to network in chi-town and/or peoria, il areas. I plan on being very active with OKP, so those craving feedback, I'mma be in front of this board all summer, lol.

i'm not a freestyle artist but i love to try
the real passion of my life lies in the words that i write
on the paper i inscribe
3 a.m. soul-spilled entries
then re-work and revise details and delivery
of times lived in open mics, cafes and speak easies
love to watch mc's grab mics and just battle
love to hear words put together like scrabble
no need for the sugar, you can keep the razzle dazzle
crave original lyricism that ride beats raw, no saddle

Whats crackin OKPeoples???
Wouldnt it be nice to perform with the Legendary Roots crew?
I'm thinkin we should bring back good hip hop. SOON.

..its dangerous now
cause all i need is a mic.
one shrug of my shoulders,
one look to the right,
Cleared my throat,
they said that what we need in this life
Is green papers and cars, a couple hoes and a light
To ignite the dynamite,
we struck nerves and stayed sober...
out of the belly, free people is takin over...

Hullo fellow rhymeslangers

my name is Noel.

I like to think I can rap. I am from Canada. I want to move to the UK and forge my own identity because I feel trapped in the confines of North American stereotyping.

this is a free flowing of words to describe the first time I rocked a stage. a school talent show.

nervousness is not a state of mind, so in this frame of mine
I am slowly suffocating in the light that wants to shine
All my life has been designed, I am simply keeping time
with the sound of music in my heart that no one has surmised
Their surprised when I hit the stage that I can be so afraid
yet leaving them so amazed with the flow gifted to the fortunate
I do not look forward to the aid living out my younger age
Save that for a later date, right now is the moment whereas
I just cannot wait for fate to be late and be acting post haste
I'm a solider, and intense fear gives me the stones to be bolder

try as I might, the title for -

only comes with maturity...

I am the mild mannered MC DC (devin cohen) who's not REALly me who transforms into THE ALIEN ARCHITECT AKA double A (betteries), the fiction writer, obsurdist wordist, secret identity. I am a Rhythm And Poetry hip hop, trip hop, experimental, fusion, next level, extraordinaire! I live and breath lyrics like air. My ish is extremely lyrical its delivery and in its actual words, and extremely musical in its tightness and progressiveness.

check out mi music @: myspace.com/AlienArchitectMusic

here's the most recent verse I wrote. Its a bit long, so its up to you how far you wanna read into it:

even microphones
get reduced to solid gold
which get represented by pieces of paper which are meaningless on their own
and the original is forgotten
only copies remain
and rhythem and poets are rapping the exact same
but the rules of the game were made to be broken
at LEAST
im hopin
FREEZE
once again I've chosen
Devinity, and adjective of my name
simple and plain
I'm comin
up with
tools of my TRADE
like recycling spit cuz its good for the environment
AND fixing and mixing lyrics I'm trash picking that CAME from.....
anti-rhythm, NO; A-rhythmic, A-matuer, freeform, ideologies, you don't follow me,
understood, well good,
think about it with
metacognition
I'm spittin
a hint at the glimpse of the gist of the myst
retoric
flowery language
nothing and everything
vocab
I go grab
the microphone and stab
myself cuz I've lost it-and I've been wasting my time being a sore loser
I've been fiendin for the mic! and addocted inner conflicted user and abuser
of short hands for misconception
stressin
what need not be
agreed
upon
going off of whats going on spawns a warm embrace
and leaves space

cuz when you define it
your makin it
definite
as apposed to the indefinite
popssibly boundless
the sound of the soundless
shapeless
this is the great shift
passed the past
into the great gates of infinity
within FREE
is found- the space ship
that will take "Takin the Chance OF TAKIn this STANCE i'm takin it"
beyond a hook hooked on phonics
to the plans which are out of this world
ALIEN to it
but affluent
in its ways and influenced
by them through the ALIENATeD eyes of the beholder
proposed by the ALIEN ARchitECT!
NOW knowing HOW
as apposed to knowing what ought be done
fun is to be had by all
situations hairy and balled
the so called
and called out
xtra xtra extraneous abundancy read all about IT
perception of FIT
mental maps
walking on water, running laps
"but you cant keep runnin away"
from the grand master plan
sam I am a ham
egged on by green envy of the men we
are seemingly supposed to be
sons of guns
where did we learn it from
SCENE!

My name is Cool Cee Brown and I am an emcee/writer/blogger. And I possess the dubious distinction of being a native of the nation's capital, the only major city in the United States to have never produced a platinum rapper.

Of course, there's Wale now. And we're all very proud and hoping his album does well.

And now my poetic offering:

"I need some room to beathe, gimmie some room please.
I need to feel the Cancun breeze with Four Season room keys.
You think I'm playin? I will soon leave
Y'all in the dust by airplane, train or bus
Before my forehead veins go bust.
I'm tryin'na work around my problems like the vein in a dutch."

I am also one half of the legendary DC rap duo, Dirty Water, and the co-CEO of Black Broadway Records. I'm new to okayplayer. but I'm going to start contributing regularly. Hoping to get some positive feedback.

One.

I like to sing words
at night i dream them in stars
Forever I grow

3'3'3'

I come here because i lost my creativity i have had a major writer's block lasting about 8 years now...i pushed it down somewhere deep down inside me and my spirit and body have suffered because of it. in many ways i have remained the same when others around me at the time have grown in many ways...i can see the significance of it, in that i am still very much a virgin, and also i have come back to a place where my original voice is coming through, not skat, not emcee not beatnick but the romanticist that i am.

i want feed back, i want interaction i want a sounding board, i want to develop my voice again i want to touch others with my words i want to know they ar ebeing touched i want to find my voice again i want it to blossom from the depths where i hid it some 8 years ago, i want help to find it...

I'm a man of the past,
And an agent of the future,
My words can cut deep,
But can also be the sutures,
So allow for me to bring you,
Pleasure beyond measure,
And give you nouns and verbs,
That are flyer than eagle feathers,
And put down the words,
That turns nevers into forevers,
I can be the fulcrum,
If you can just be lever.
I just want to be a tool,
Like a hammer or some pliers,
So we can stop getting screwed like wood,
And be the new drivers.

Lol. real talk tho, I just enjoy the atmosphere. Keep writing everybody.

Futuristiclyric, one love, one life.

Artist/Emcee/Poet/Producer/Entrepeneur/Actor

Basically i've been a member of other hip-hop boards, but i've been looking for a board with more people, more opionions, more opportunities for networking, and just people who share my love of hip-hop.

I'm also here to hone my craft, collaborate with people, produce for people, ask opinions on certain issues and topics...in short the usual.

I have a mixtape coming out in December titled "Genius Recognise Genius - The Dilla Edition" and my plan is for a series before the release of my debut LP (To Be Determined LP) which is slated (at the moment) for a march/april 2009 release.

there is a myspace...www.myspace.com/geniimusic which is in the process of being redesigned...your welcome to visit and view

would appreciate feedback...thank you

Ladies and gentlemen i have a peanut buttery flow/
with no lumps but evident street cuts utterly show/
that stuttering foes are in awe at my majesty/
hearts flutter in clothes/ jaws drop at the travesty/
if i don't spit intelligentally/ which is never ever ever/
never flipped irrelivantly/more like stitched it clever/
like frankenstein you ain't ready for this creation/
yet my spanking lines are ahead of me in liason/
ing with frankly blind peeps but with deadly thoughts/
look distraught but taught to retort in words n thought/
and act in reaction/ end up in court n caught/
jury bought for nought laced cheuques at the back of the court/
n outlawed nought esque with cross satisfact/ion/
tact packed but lacked macs n a strap to clap cats/
nd felt hacked/ by bully backed crackerjacks/
but the stacks will pre-react/ and make you crack n collapse/

peace

"Spittin more savage flows than a tourettes ravaged foe/flipping through cabbage rolls as the respect damaged foes"

To Be Determined LP coming soon...

You wanna know who I am? Well I’m a wizard with words
A villainous scourge, but when I write to the riddim it works
Delivered to Earth after God saw a conspicuous dearth
Of poets with the skill to birth a ridiculous verse

So I was conceived to conceive words that inspire revolution
Conceptually immaculate, my rhymes are restitution
For the destitute, the Rest of youth, left to choose solutions
To a problem that stays constant due to desperate convolution

I hope that verse kinda shows the two different sides to my personality and also to my writing. I'm aiming to gain constructive feedback and sharpen my skills, as well as share my work with people and just generally be inspired and vibe with like-minded artists.

what is it about you that make you think/
there's something special about me that makes me free/
We, prisoners of the same prison cell/
but you see me in heaven, when I see us in hell/
when will, we wake up and see/
It's in the mindset that we are truly free/
Liberated, not sedated/
free of punishment un-deliberated/
No true choice, No real voice have I or you/
but you still choose the optimistic view/
Maybe I'm just tryna be strong for you/
or maybe I don't know the shit that you think I do/
I see the same four walls set out in front/
and daily, for my sanity I do too hunt/
But you still cling onto foolish dreams/
when I'm developing another war regime/
Liberated, not sedated.

I'm opening my eyes, prison guards must hate it/
damn, got to be ironic/
the shit they tried to hide to me is now mnemonic/
devices, try to hide this/
truth.

I speak from somewhere deep inside of deep/
Makes no sense, cuz it's not supposed to/
put it in the air for the ignorant to misconstrue/
manifestations of aberration add to my frustration/
and you still smiling only lay the foundation/
Let me get some water and un-brainwash you/

Liberated, not sedated.
The temples of worldly gods now desecrated/
Bet my whole life ancestors didn't see/
we'd have to become slaves to truly be free.

I feel like my flow has diminished. I need to sharpen it. IMMEDIATELY.

I've been pretty blessed to be surrounded in life by fantastic musicians, rappers, poets, beatboxers, writers, dancers, film makers and all types of creatives.

My primary passion is for drums... but along the way i've picked up a little bit of this and pinch of that from friends. So things will come out occasionally.

Thanks for the opportunity to express them and to experience your own expressions.

peace & much love.

REAL new on Okayplayer altho I've been lurking for a minute, but here's a quick 16 from a recent joint that encapsulates my mindstate at the moment.

I'm here for you fam, especially when you're strugglin' to make it
When you feelin' lower than a puddle in the pavement
When you cussin' at the world, sufferin' and wasted
Look, we all hustlin' so face it, there's gonna be

Times when each one of us is sinkin'
Times when you goin' out your mind and you wanna chug a drink and
Feelin' like you travelin' and lost your way
Pissed off at the cards that you're forced to play

Believe me I been in similar straits
Situations so heavy that I almost couldn't deal with the weight
If it wasn't for those who kept me movin' on in the race of life
I could be dead last, still at the gate

That don't mean that I'm stress-free, far from it but
Let's see, I'm still puttin' forward the best me
And damn right I'ma help you out the same, fam
That's the game plan, sky-high until the plane lands

yeah this is my First Post
EDZzZz aka chillmode, from the rotten gothen,
u can call it Sweden, Gothenburg,
I did some freestyle in the freestyle board,
so now Im bored, re-cut my cord, play on the right accord,
while i sleep with the ones who can afford,
not that it is expensive, its the opposite, u need to be poor,
rich folks like hale berry and drew barrymore cannot enter the
only-down-to-earth-girls-fort,
then too some smooth jazz gone baltimore,
I woke up and its so cold, financial crisis we need to get it sold,
your whole house plus your household,
who will save us from this nightmare so bold?

Hi, my name is Meilana... i've been writing poems for a long ass time but in the past 4 years I've been working on my flow. I'm really just looking for feedback and inspiration.

Here is a verse that is a current work in progress (some things don't fit yet...) For now its untitled.

Scrappy as I gotta be as I emerge from my chrysalis down with the ignorant bliss that dismissed my growth, stunted my pituitary, I was a closet visionary, gotta carry on while my days remain long. Its not for granted as dreams enchanted rise up to the surface givin my existence purpose. I LIVE to solve the enigma to collapse the stigma that my "y" chromosome honed, etch a place of my own on this plackard of validity, this backwards shit is killin me, now I'm blowin the whistle, chew on the gristle 'cause my words are a pistol, step up and get a fistful, c'mon and humor me, let me spray the walls with the truth thats consuming me, still look down on women unless they underneath, half still surrender between the sheets, tell me how change is complete when its 09 and we're still takin a backseat

Much love and faith to all.

What's goinz on?! I just joined two days ago. My homie and rhyme partner Birminghams Savage finally got me on here. I represent 1/3 of the DSA (Down South Avengers), who feel like as southerners who are m.c.'s as well, the south should be avenged from all the scrutiny and show that there is an alternative to what's "hot" right now. Anyway, here's a lil somn:

I get congregations hype like a Pentecostal synagogue/and flash hotness like a broad that's in menopause. Your flow's stagnant mine been evolved/lightweight rappers I push through you niggaz that doors that revolve. I'm resilient I don't know resolve/It would be brilliant for you kids not to diss me 'cuz I don't spare the rod. Son of Jehovah, I'm a demigod/human by nature but show signs I'm divine when rhymes get involved. See, I appear to be lighter skinned/but that's just the essence of God's presence as seen through human irises. Those around him he illuminates/ you would need a dictionary and a pair of shades, that's how bright he is. I leave a touch on the track that like Midas' right hand/It shines so you know the dude that's writing has not planned/ on penning a skippable 16/ so I make sure I'm equipped with a quip that's just mean. When the pen hits the paper the lyrics are pristine/the words ride the track like Stephen King's Christine. On their own with no wrecks on the record/hella clean down to exit 16 with little effort!

-I haven't been on here in a REALLY long time...But here's a piece I just wrote...please let me know what you think-

I Rock heavier than any street medicine........WAIT!(weight)/
I need to clean up this plate...I'm a rev-e-rend//
Cleansed by the blood...an emcee or thug?/
I feel LOVE but my flesh "loves" eating it up//
See, death starts with life the first gasp of breath/
Assembling the rest...as if you passed the test//
New day, new lesson and then back 2 reverend/
This WEIGHT(wait!) is too heavy...Lord, i'm working towards Heaven......//

I'm brand new here and just a P.I.P. (Poetess In Progress) from California... recently picked up the pen again after writing my first poem in the 7th, but I won't tell my age...LOL. I've posted my poetry on other sites also. I'm here to share me and absorb you sharing YOU!

So let's see I don't have a piece that describes me. But I did write this real life experience - I always say my son is the "Son Of An Underground Legend" - in his hometown. It's short and funky... and probably could use some more content. However I ALWAYS keep it simple, one day I'll be a great wordsmith...enjoy!

Can I Love You and Hip Hop Too?

Can I love You and Hip Hop too?
Treasure your cloud of smoke
And withstand you not being you?

Can I love You and Hip Hop too?
Stand patiently by your dreams
And not ask what you can do for you?

Can I love You and Hip Hop too?
Walk invisibly in my footsteps
And watch my soles become you?

Can I love You and Hip Hop too?

I normally don't freestyle, i like to take time
To think about and perfect every rhyme
but now after i've consumed some joints
you'll se that i can really still make my point
so people just listen, or better yet, read
to my poetry, cause right now i dun smoked a whole lotta weed
i don't like to talk about how good i am, so i will let that pass
I want to talk about my love for this art, plus my love for the ass
See, hip-hop is my first love, mary jane is my second
But i'll end up with a lady, at least thats what i reckon
I want to let you know that i'm gonna stay
And i know what's going on, peace to Marvin Gaye
this was fun and all, but i think i'm finished
and if you step to me in a battle, i'll make you feel diminished

I'm a walking talkin soap opera drama from my mama
The pain that push my pen cross paper or keys when I'm typin
I got a whole life dreamin bout nothing but music
But sometimes those hurdles be to high
And I've caught my foot on a few of them
Tried to run the relays when Hampton was my track
I was a quarter of No Phade and I'll forever be on that
But as I stand for a piece of the spot light I'm humbled
I'd like to introduce myself Noog that stands for NO/One/Greater

I'm monstrous

I'm a whole oxymoron of fear and confidence

I haven't posted much in the past few years, i see the dinosaurs still writing their pieces (zin, dec, wildout, bartek, photo, etc.) This is a good place. I'm not looking to be criticized only cuz i'm not trying to perfect my artform of writing. I know its raw, un-rhymed and punchy at times. Battles are fun tho...

you wanna see my style?, i got no style
no style means i had to master every style - NO I.D.

but about me?
i failed typin twice so really i hate typin
merticulous about my handwriting - i REALLY hate writin
this started from writin love letters to all the girls
that i knew i couldn't get cause they was outta this world
i had a quick wit and old dictionary
and at a yard sale i bought some used stationary
addicted to words, you could say they was my drug
a thief, finding combinations to show these females love
mc lytes, they wasn't having it but that rejection was a spark
that ignited the true love i always had in my heart
from the start of the "A"s to the end of the "Z"s
and all the million billion zillion words in between

lol
that was kinda funny to me on some elementary school, google plex is next shit, then infinity. but seriously thats how it started, writing girls beyond the "do you like me?, check yes or no". i was puttin thought into it like a essay and gettin F's. then i remember 9th grade we had to write some shit about thanksgiving and i wrote a story called "The Night Before Thanksgiving". The teacher read everybodies shit out loud and the class said mines was the best. Unfortunately, I was sick that day so the one time a poor kid could've got a little props from the popular crowd, didn't. But thats when I knew something. Anyway, I come here to steal yall ideas!! Hotep brothers and sisters...

trying to meet those who can help me produce high quality music in the new york area. living in brooklyn

to the beat of "play dis only at night", pete rock

tune my mind to beat so i can feel the streets
even inanimate objects got sound heartbeats
resurrect the godfathers with precise syntax
profusion of thought keeps my mind on wax
and if you feel this track, you best produce me quick
cuz i'm breakin competition like i flicked hit stick

seeking light like a sunflower, i absorb the sun power,
put in hour after hour, my devotion never cower
seek to understand, so i hear your cries
won't lock the door to your thoughts,
ill open the window and share mine
a lyrical display of visual color
synthesis combines each thought to form another
more grand than the first, first hope then re-birth
i ain't got time to spit more, so take what the earth

Um, this is an introduction, rhyme is a simple function--/
I'm not gonna skip percussion, simply to mention nothing/
My a capellas are compelling archipelagos/
So each rhyme is an island I can land wherever those...are/
And in between each I'm flowin over the ocean/
Looking for meaning meenameenameena--oh shit/
I guess I'm BUGgin out, you're not supposed to know that I, Robot/
But that's the only dance that I know bot/
And if I never rhyme, so wot/
Eventually I make up for it cause I write...whole lots/
So much that I could sell my raps as whips, my sh!t cracks/
I f*cked up that metaphor but to get back/
To the topic I'm a hot kid not the opposite/
Don't have an album out so won't promote to cop a bit/
I never copped or bit another rappers rhymes/
So if you see a line that's similar believe it's mine/
I just write whatever comes to me and I ain't THAT influenced/
Cause I'm dope in my own left, but I don't practice hubris/
And even though I'm new here there isn't really newness/
I've been writing since 97, hence the name if you're clueless/

I think that oughta be good enough for now. I've just been bored so I figured I'd hop on OKP and FINALLY try to make a name for myself or do whatever the hell y'all do around here. I haven't been an active message board member anywhere for years. What's good?

come closer O brotha of my familiar,
swim in the abyss of my liquid brown eyes,
drink thirstily from my well,
and know
ME
im so Blac
i cradle midnight in my arms
and call him Sun.
ME
like a fine wine my mind
is the cellar of thought
were vocabulary and expressions age
to ferment into wisdom.

I came back to this board, because I got lost in life and forgot how to write, my words hit the pad in jumbled rambings.
So I'm looking for inspiration, and constructive criticism.

Love writin',
I've been on the boards for about 8 years yet never stumbled into the freestyle boards but I dig the open vibe. Here's a verse from a joint of mine entitled "Bus Stop"....I'll provide a rough link also.

Who got a buck fifty?...
..hop on the C-Breeze bus...
..everybody settle-down-
grab a mug of green tea and put the kettle-down-
medal-rounds-
............and silver bullets..for were-wolves-
put an end to the Cuban embargo and share-good(s)- cigars..
blunt smoke fill the bus in here-
invisible rhyme pa-tter-ns-
my words-is-clear-
sha-tter-n-.....
.....the glass house of your worsest-fear-
and manifest ya god-energy my verse di-vine-
Afrikanic Kemetic keepin' my Ka Kontrol...
architectural origin of earth's de-sign-
fla-tter-n-......
......my ancestors this verse-is-dear-
medicinal man-u-scripts- makin' my nurses-cheer-
hand-le-with-
....care and dil-i-gance-/lazarous type res-il-i-ence/telepathically lit-er-ate-...
-I'm-readin'-ya-mind-
demograpically indiscri-min-ate-....
-I'm-blurin'-the-lines-
de-liv-er-it-.....like missiles during cold war time-
...unexpected-
and unprotected- like condoms broke...
that means mistakes happen-
kinda like deez Katz rappin'-...
it takes action-....
to administer change-
grab an analogue controller,..playin' sinister games-
of diminishin' competi-tion and e-li-mi-nate ya'll...

Could God create a much better vessel?
With my own thoughts at night I tend to wrestle.
This stride you have, the sense of being;
At the same time as if normal, nothing spectacular here.

Maybe, just maybe I've got this twisted like a pretzel?
That was, until in my arms to chose to nestle.
From this unlikely chord my spirit does soar...
But from the other side, who'd know you where a whore?

I mean for attention that is; I know well how difficult you are...
But still, I had no idea this would be so taxing, by far...
I have to admit I can't afford you, I'll be bankrupt.
I simply don't have the time and patience for this dear.

Still, there was a time I though you where worth it. Silly me.

Hey y'all!
My name's Suzanne, username streetwalkingbaby representative of my love for Michael Jackson. I was born in Providence but Boston is my true home. MJ is clearly my inspiration, he brought me closer to my religion, brought me to better music, and inspires me to be passionate and to be a lover not a fighter. I don't do anything i don't love. I strongly believe that as long as you got love, you can do anything. You can conquer the world with love.
I write a bit in privacy of my own. I used to style blog hoping to start that up again. I hope to begin blogging again on a regular basis and actually having confidence to post my writing and artwork online.
Thanks y'all Nice to meet you!
