and there was a world's fair,
but now there's warfare,
news only covers the surface,
Bush push government into private enterprise,
and the purpose is,
no surprise,
to make the merchants rich,
so Halliburton leave the families hurtin,
and working people laid off for not being assertive,
and the labor unions lay off too,
they flop and they opt to get the payoff,
you,
start the day off with a bad step,
look to the left and see a family living off they last breath,
we claim to press for solutions,
but solutions in the ridding of pollution,
cleaning streets of shootings,
telemarketings a nuisance,
and the liquor 100 proof,
loose monarchy ruling,
exec policy fooling,
and Bush racing for fueling,
the schools that the kids in is not really schooling,
and it all ends up on the news for your amusement,
life's a circus,
but if the show goes wrong you can't ask for reimbursement,
even the worse men justify they actions in their heads,
"well he shot at me first,
I guess he meant to end up dead"
arrested,
still saying that he's innocent,
laying down his gun for a book and a prayer,
in the direction of the rising sun,
but change is rare,
he still might die young,
