Honestly, I don't know much about Amy outside of the fact that she was a very gifted singer/songwriter with a tragic, gritty life. This trailer is too polished and glossy to convince me this is an authentic depiction of the depths of her suffering and the beauty it infused into her music.

I'm sure some people will watch this, and I say this as someone who only knew of her through the unfortunate news of her struggles with addiction and other trauma, she deserves better.
