Season two dropped. First ep was hilarious. Like a raunchier fresh off the boat (eerily similar gotta be some of they people involved) and Portlandia (armisted was in the first season).
Feels appropriate to note I ran through a few eps of Primo on freevee too (cuz they both hispanic yea, but moreso cuz they got a similar feel). It’s good but this fool is a better show imo, primo focused too much on the teen romance which wasn’t really compelling (that shit was boring).

Not that Season 1 didn't have great episodes, but this season came out the gate great and didn't slow down. The Chicken episode and the two-part hostage episodes were my favorite.
sidenote, is Bill Pullman sick or was that just good makeup? He looked frail, not sure if it was the role but yea.

And I like they call it back in a later episode when she says she's "Going to the spa".
But real talk, you gotta explain the dynamics of how guys like Luis and Julio could snag the women they did this season, hell, even Maggie. Like its not just some shit for tv, but that shit is real. It's a culture thing, right?

Julio's a bridge further because he looks 20 years older than he is ( I love how much fun they have with that) but they make sense in the universe of the show. He and Maggie were together at a young age, and she kinda has that vibe that she wasn't seen as traditionally attractive in high school, and they were both hood raised but more into nerd shit. Even for Luis and Ruby.. She wants to expand her horizons and travel and doesn't want kids but in the end, Luis is the type of dude she's used to, and she'll vibe with him much better than some rando with an advanced degree who likes to travel.
So yeah none of the pairings seem off to me since I can think of quite a few similar real life examples lol
