Even though I knew how this was gonna end walking in cause of real life (I'm sure everyone has been in some sort of situation like this), it still got me.
An emotional uppercut to the gut.
Believe the hype on this. Quite literally the perfect way to tell this familiar story.
But yeah, even though I think I might be lower than consensus here, it's objectively a really, really well-made feature. A cut above the usual Sundance fare.

I avoided it because it's not the type of film I typically like, slow humorless meditative love stories.
But those are all the things I liked about it. Can't think of a movie where what was unsaid was more valuable then what was said. Can't think of a movie that made better use of just two people looking at each other.
It's as good of a movie about interracial love I can think of even though it seemed secondary to the story (or maybe it's primary but they handled it subtlety).
Can't believe this is a film of a first time filmmaker!

Like the dude who kept pursuing a woman who has rejected him on so many occasions. But he is not. He is a guy who knows exactly what he wants and has purpose who has Greta Lee questioning her every choice.
Man was out on a date with a girl and her husband in another country speaking another language and he was the coolest, most confident one of the three.
Yeah dude killed it.

When the 40 year old actors were playing college students lol. Would’ve preferred a Moonlight approach with different actors playing the roles in each era. That said, the performances were great and I thought it was a novel approach to the love triangle that it wasn’t just a bunch of arguing.
