I'll be honest I had 0 interest in this story, or even knew much about it beyond vague memories from junior high, but saw Peele's name so figured I'd give it a shot (the director is Joshua Roffe).
Really good mix of the obligatory seedy parts of the story (including some shots of the cut-off penis, BE WARNED) with some broader societal aspects, a la the OJ ESPN doc. This one isn't as lengthy but tbf the case isn't really interesting by itself, as there's no mystery. But the domestic violence angle is important, and sadly still very relevant. The coda showing who JWB has become now is pretty revelatory as well.

Just because I never bothered to think about the case beyond the late night monologues and easy jokes, being a thoughtless teenager.
It's really long, but nothing they included seemed like filler or irrelevant. And you're right, his life post trial seems to indicate he was every bit the P.O.S. she said he was and more. And also, that she wasn't what she was painted by the media to be at all.
