Thanks for posting this and for the kind words. Truthfully, I haven't seen the movie yet and, since the road to a movie's completion is an insanely complicated one, I don't know what's been changed and what hasn't. Here's what I do know:
- the last draft I turned in was a fun, twisty thriller with a sense of humor and a strong feminist slant at the end
- the director has worked on several terrific movies and has a great eye for imagery, so even if the suits messed with the script/story, the movie should *look* great
- the cast lines up more or less with how I pictured all the characters, which is, needless to say, a great feeling
- it should be, at bare minimum, a fun movie to crack open a bottle of wine and have a good time with-- which, ultimately, was the primary goal
Maybe I'll post some drinking game rules before it airs, lol. But yeah, if anyone/everyone could watch it or at bare minimum tweet some support the night of, that'd certainly help grease the wheels for future Longo Lifetime stuff. Thanks again, everyone.
