Fifth season dropped a couple of weekends ago, and didn't see a post about it.
Yeah, this is still REALLY good. This season is better than last season (which wasn't bad or even okay, just not as great as the previous seasons).
I'm not going to front, Bojack's story is very similar to the first three seasons. That being said, the execution is so good that it doesn't really matter.
OKP Big Nick is credited as a producer for every episode this season. And he writes one of the better episodes this season.
They tackle a lot of stuff, from the #metoo movement and all the nuances from the victim's perspective. There's also an excellent episode on cultural appropriation. And they continue to really get creative with the story structure for each installment. And they do an awesome job at mocking prestige drama shows.
More Todd this season. Diane and Mr. Peanutbutter are excellent. The Princess Caroline spotlight episode this time is one of the best of the season. And "Free Churro" is one of the best episodes that the series has ever done.
I'll write a more spoiler-filled response later, but suffice to say check it out.

I'm halfway through this season and just watched "Free Churro", episode 6. Man, that episode is a gut punch. They going for that Emmy with this episode. Jeez.
3. "It’s the best show on TV" In response to Reply # 0
THEEEE. BEST.
Co-sign everything said in OG post. Fun and inventive ways of keeping it fresh while still playing to the strengths of what has made the show so great in the past.
4. "OK I'm gonna start it" In response to Reply # 0
I initially saw it when it first came out and thought it was gonna be another raunchy animated series like all of the other ones on Netflix so I passed on it. But now I'm seeing people say Emmy and shit lol
