Had a couple of free tickets that were gonna expire soon at the Drafthouse in Brooklyn. So I went with my brother and did a double feature of The Preadtor and this.

Shit is a twisty comedic noir (the comedy is black as fuck).

Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively are top notch in this. I didn't know Paul had something like this in him.

It is about 15 minutes too long, but still worth checking out.

A really bad movie called A Simple Favor.

This movie had no idea what it wanted to be when it grew up.

It doesn't know of it's a comedy, a thriller, or a mystery.

Sometimes that can be okay. To explore and discover your own truth and identity, but this movie never does.

It's a bad movie that is not funny, not thrilling, and might have a little mystery.

It is shot very beautifully. The colors are vibrant, and it looks pretty good, but the story is awful.

I recommend to Pass on this one.

This marks the second time I was surprised by one of her movies (The Shallows being the first)

I thought the plot was decent enough to hold my attention even if it did try too hard to be both a comedy and a thriller at points.
