he was so painfully obvious at the bail bonds place. Jerome was right, if he didn't make a big show about pretending 5K was a problem, they probably wouldn't have tried to rob him.

Yeah, now looking back you'd think it's stupid to keep everything in one semi-secured safe house and only use minimal security, but at the time, these were uncharted waters. Franklin only got a taste of how fucked up the game could be last season, and he managed to work his way out of it without getting his hands dirty. I assume as the season goes on, it's going to be about Franklin learning how to be the man, and getting more ruthless as time goes on.

i just took this one as some sort of hood Madrina. Maybe it was because she was talking all that "our people", and it never seemed like Griselda cared about anything like that. she was just evil. This one is just a bitch, and I assume connected down south, so you're probably right in that sense.

Last season had its issue in the beginning, but it eventually found what worked. This seemed like a good first step.

So, which of the major characters are getting hooked on rock? Franklin's homies? The cop's daughter?

Franklin's loud mouth homie already tried rock and enjoyed. The neighbor's daughter was dying to get some coke, so that's an easy call. For impact though, I'm sure it'll be Franklin's mom all crack-zombied out.

I like him but he comes off like a spoof character half the time. Plus he ALWAYS looks like he's trying not to laugh.

Franklin's decision making... I dunno, man. Giving these little knuckleheads guns seems destined to be a disaster. Kevin is a problem. Franklin should have cut him loose as soon as he found out he was stealing, but he keeps appeasing him, and its making him have even less respect for Franklin

It'll come to a head by the end of the season. I'm almost positive Franklin's going to have to kill him himself, making the first person he ever murks.

I was about to be furious because I legit thought Luisa fell for that ranchera "my father taught us to shoot" nonsense. did he teach you how to treat shotgun wounds too? lol.

What does piss me off is how lax Franklin is with Kevin. Yeah, they go back, but he's about to bring the mexican mafia on everyone. Now I assume Franklin is gonna wind up having to hand him over or take him out and cut some kind of deal.

now that she knows she's a Fed, they gotta figure a way to take her out the picture. Also there's Pedro, is he in on it or is he that dumb.

Franklin is pure smart/dumb status, I figure he's gotta take Kevin down and with Lusia dealing with the aftermath of that shootout at the warehouse, she'll probably get Franklin to link it to Kevin as revenge for his cousin and homie's death.

It still bothers me that for him to be so smart, that he keeps making dumb moves. We already can see his other boy's girl gonna somehow give up the recipe.

Also, I need Peaches to put in work, he's way to quiet. I'm ready for Deray to get down.

>take her out the picture. Also there's Pedro, is he in on it
>or is he that dumb.

I'm not sure if the DEA is on them for their supplier (Teddy/Reed), or the Madrina lady. At first i was leaning towards her working Pedro for being a clear weak link, but now i think it makes more sense that Pedro tried to start his own thing and failed miserably because he's Pedro, and he's clearly not built for prison, so now she owns him

>Franklin is pure smart/dumb status, I figure he's gotta take
>Kevin down and with Lusia dealing with the aftermath of that
>shootout at the warehouse, she'll probably get Franklin to
>link it to Kevin as revenge for his cousin and homie's death.

This makes sense. I figure it would be something along the lines of having Franklin's people take Soledad out in exchange for no retribution for Kevin, but I didn't consider blaming Kevin for the warehouse thing

>It still bothers me that for him to be so smart, that he keeps
>making dumb moves. We already can see his other boy's girl
>gonna somehow give up the recipe.

This drives me nuts, man. Didn't she kick homegirl in the stomach last season (or have her right hand man do it? i can't remember). Are we supposed to forget the first thing she did was set Franklin up? Has Franklin forgotten? lol

>Also, I need Peaches to put in work, he's way to quiet. I'm

They are to looking to flip Luisa and Oso, but to get close enough to find out who the plug is and who the plug gets his dope from. Then take everyone out; Reed, Luisa, and the Martina if they can make a connection.

I do think Pedro flipped cause he came out of nowhere and immediately wanted to get back to work. He knows Luisa was involved in the family masacare so he’s still holding that grudge. Like you said he probably got pinched in Texas and being how soft he is flipped. If he didn’t , I feel awful for him cause that means he’s truly in love with homegirl.

I think Franklin is going to be alright and his Aunt won’t give the recipe to homegirl at the club. He’s also stupid for trust that woman cause she’s shady and only made a deal to get his Aunt back.

I think his crip homie’s girl might be a weak link though. And he Kevin thing is the only way to go, I doubt Franklin makes a deal with the Madrina unless he connects her and Reed so he doesn’t have to deal with the overhead of buying so much weight and not having anywhere to sale it. I figure Kevin falls, Madrina gets her revenge and Franklin has one less problem.

Jerome is comedy

So Pedro straight up WENT to the DEA. He's even dumber than I thought.

Teddy is crazy good at what he does. I wonder how he handles this. It was kind of put out there that he's on his own, so I don't think he can make a call and have the DEA back off, but we'll see.

This ep was a little too heavy handed on daddy themes.

Jerome is just too funny, something bad is obviously going to end up happening to him.

I'm still baffled how Franklin can't see Kevin ain't happy and going to end up turning.

The stuff with his dad and his boy's dad was a bit over the top. I thought for a minute that Franklin would cut dude's dad in since he's in the porn industry and rock did make its way there.

Reed is a smart dude, but without any official CIA backing how is he going to do away with the DEA tail/investigation. I think his brother should've gotten out too, cause it's pretty obvious he's going to die either on one those runs down to south america or get shot down.

because it's overly obvious so it makes Franklin look dumb. Kevin has done everything but tell Franklin point blank he's gonna betray him (he actually already did when he admitted to stealing). Franklin better not act surprised lol.

Yeah, i don't know how Reed/Teddy handles this. He *might* be able to call in some kind of emergency favor due to the whole op being in jeopardy but aside from the fact that what he's doing is highly illegal and that the CIA will throw him under the bus in a heartbeat as a rogue agent if they have to, I don't know if they even have any sway over the DEA like that.

Luisa is cold blooded. I mean Pedro had to go but to leave Oso alone with homegirl like that was foul.

Franklin's ass learning real quick that family doesn't mix well with business. Now his boy's girl about to be strung out on the rock and just another leak in his scheme to keep the recipe. Teddy also didn't look too happy about his expansion dreams either, but I guess we know how that'll go.

Speaking of Teddy, dude's brother is caught up in his bullshit, when he just wanted to go home and visit dad. Teddy may be decent at this spy shit, but damn if he doesn't have the common sense to see when shits going bad.

I think he just thinks Franklin is getting ahead of himself and isn't exactly convinced Franklin can pull it off. Which kind of goes along with what you're saying about Teddy's constant "i got this" attitude. He believes he own hype, partially with good reason, and partially at his own peril.

Pedro went out like more of a G than I would have expected. He's been so bitchmade the whole series, I figured he'd go out begging and crying. What's Lucia and Oso's play here though? Kill or torture her? DEA has dirt on them already, so it will only make things worse. It seems all they can do is run or rat.

Also Soledad's accent shifts crack me up so much. Her voice goes from orange county white girl to Maria Conchita Alonzo in colors lol

i interpreted his reaction way different...i thought he was seeing dollar signs...i didn't get the sense that he was worried or thought Franklin was in over his head. i saw surprise but also an "oh shit...let's go" moment in his reaction.

I could be wrong but i think he likes this since it will mean more revenue for him/the war

spoilers

Do you guys think Oso is really dead? I like Oso but i'd also like this show to have the balls to actually kill him off.

Avi and the Colombians was gold.

I liked the idea of Franklin inadvertently killing Kev. And while we're at it FUCK Kevin. I'm so tired of Franklin's crew riding for him. Dude shot indiscriminately and luckily didn't kill a little girl. Dude stole Franklins money, apparently beat down those mexican girls. Much of why his cousins got killed was their own stupidity anyway.

And in this week's episode of Franklin did some dumb shit.

Oso, probably isn't dead and to be honest this show doesn't have the balls. I hope he lives cause he's the one character I like the most.

Kevin's ass had to go, he was a problem from the moment he wanted to try the rock. I knew a dude like that wasn't built to be a drug kingpin and just a regular knucklehead. His other homie super crip, seems to get it but he just can't make the transition all the way.

I like this show but it could/should be a lot better than it is. They killed off Kevin and Pedro which is the easy route because no one likes either one of them.

>And in this week's episode of Franklin did some dumb shit.

man, as soon as he went to the house, i'm thinking "yup there's that franklin shit".
Good emotional episode for him otherwise.

That they killed Kevin like that. He seemed wounded but fine when the DEA agent found him then nothing and now he’s dead? It feels off.

I think Oso lives or at least I hope so. I’m mad they couldn’t finish that one dude off though.

Cause when she ran over she started holding his thigh to keep the pressure on the wound. She was giving the same "stay calm, you're going to be alright." that they always give. HIm dying from Franklin's non-shooting ass makes sense. It just goes in line with the Franklin did some dumb shit story they're telling.

That DEA agent has it out for Lucia, she probably is going to work with Teddy/Reed just to get to her.

she's got her in with Reed. I think Reed is just going to bring her in case he needs that extra line of defense stateside since his op is officially off the company books.

If Kevin is alive, then it's the LAPD at play and they're doing that to make Franklin scared so he'll give up his connects, workers, and etc.

Smart move for the show is just to leave Kevin dead, Franklin ends up sitting in county til a lawyer or Reed gets him out. Then we get Freeway Franky. Or they get someone to take the charge since they dumped the car and the weapon.

it just feels like there's a missing scene in there somewhere because even the reveal that he's dead felt like the cops were bullshitting

Franklin doing stupid Franklin shit, right?
I literally facepalmed when he grinned with relief from Ray Ray saying "we're from the same hood, we gotta stick together"

The County stuff was great. I loved Leon's reaction. Dude's been all warm and cuddly this season, it was cool to see him go back to early season 1 Leon.

So Teddy spings Franklin and promises to serve him up to Carly at a latter date. Also it seems like the Lucia/Oso story is just over.

I think so, I think him being locked up showed him the game isn't that east to play.

Leon is the best, his speech to Franklin to get Ray Ray in line was peak Leon from season 1. I'm honestly going to be sad when he eventually dies or gets locked up

I think Lucia and Oso comeback, we just wrapped on Franklin. Those two have nothing and still gotta hid out from the ese' they ratted on. Lucia has nothing but this game left and Oso probably died like the fortune teller hinted at.

Between this and his speech last episode to Franklin's mom, Leon closed the season out strong.

>So Teddy spings Franklin and promises to serve him up to Carly

I wouldn't say that. It seemed like they were hedging their bets with the second to last episode in case they didn't get renewed, but I'm guessing that at least Lucia will be back (probably Oso too).

Plus, I figured that when Carly made the deal with Teddy, that meant she wants to make sure she can arrest Lucia. She's been obsessed with locking up Lucia all-season, and I imagine that will eventually get paid off.
