"Is American Pie 2 the highest grossing, worst acted movie ever?"

It made $287,553,595 worldwide.

I put it on my Netflix machine last night and holy shit can no one act in it.

and theres no way could that could get made today.

2001 doesnt seem that long ago when it really is, this must be what it was like to go back and watch movies from the 70s in the 90s and be shocked what was done.

You don't have to look so far back.

The Twilight movies? The Fifty Shades movies? BANK.

I only saw the last Twilight movie, and only about fifteen minutes of Fifty Shades Darker, but those are most definitely on the list of box office hits that are actually terrible movies in almost every way.

As we all know at this point, the main factor here isn't the times per se, but how old you are when you watch these movies.

I have to give a pass to a good 80-90% of the movies from my childhood that I consider "classic" that are actually not great at all, and I probably wouldn't care for them if I saw them now. Hate to be that guy, but this includes the original Star Wars trilogy.
