I'm mad Ramirez doesn't get more Hollywood shine than he does. Carlos was such a great film that I think went way under the radar. I hope this gets him more dramatic roles.

Which makes sense, since it's about a serial killer. And one that very little is known about, including his motives. Dude who plays AC is really fucking creepy.

Last ep was one of my favorites. Dude who played Modesto was amazing.

it's a really specific style. Same with the OJ joint. Kind of Lifetime-ish, but I guess better made/acted. I'm also glad they're focusing more on Adrew than Versace. I find myself kinda tuning out during the Versace parts , though I love how Penelope Cruz talks haha.
I was also kind of tripping in this last episode is how we were at a point where we could assume all the stories Andrew would tell people about his history to try and impress were pretty much 100% lies. We've all been around people who make up stories that are such obvious bullshit that you feel embarrassed for them. But in this episode we found out technically his pops was a broker for Meryl Lynch, he did have the master bedroom in their house, he did go to an elite private school, etc. Still full of shit, just a little less than we thought lol.

I know everyone here loved the OJ one. I hated it and quit on it after the scene with the kardashians at the chinese restaurant. I guess it's weird that I'm such a fan of the current series.

Yes, the versace angle (sister and all) is kinda predictable and boring.

It's funny that the master bedroom thing was the final embellishment that made David get up from the private hotel room dinner he was having with Andrew...yet it was one of the few things that Andrew said that was true. From what I've read the master bedroom thing was accurate in real life too. What a weird fucking story this is.

I remember at that point thinking the show wasn't gonna be very good. it improved immensely after that. one of my favorite things from that year.

Damn, i didn't even remember that it was the last thing. Nice touch. I just remember thinking (probably David too) what a ridiculous thing to lie about
16. "Yea you could legit tell David was TRYING to give him a real shot" In response to Reply # 14
Even when Andrew was telling the truth it sounds like bullshit. Crazy to see that he was telling the truth, maybe not the whole truth, but the truth still.
The way he did his mom had me in my feelings yo.
This dude better win something for his portrayal because he is killing this role.
Penelope was doing work in the episode where she got to put on that dress too.

was awful. very end, meaning everything after Andrew ate his gun. The Miglin lady and the letters, the italy stuff. the final shot of the mausoleum. It all felt so thrown together and tacked on.
I really liked the rest of the finale though. Glad we got to see Modesto again, capitalizing on shit lol.

i didnt even realize that ep 9 was the finale. It really threw me off because after ep 8 (the best one of the series) I was like 'Ok now shit is getting REALLY good' and figured the show was going to really take off from there. so I was bummed when i flipped on ep 9 and saw that it wa the finale. but in reality the writers prob had a hell of a time stretching things out to the extent that they did given the lack of info and the fact that this saga didn't take all that long in real life to unfold.

The Modesto/Andrew relationship was by far the high point of the series. They basically made Modesto look like the worst human being on earth, lol.
18. "It was weird they chose to bring back Angela Bower/Ms. Miglin at the end" In response to Reply # 15
Considering that Miglin wasn't a huge part of the overall story. I guess it was due to the fact that she was in Florida while the manhunt was going on.
I agree that most of the stuff after Andrew blew his brains out wasn't great. I'm a little more forgiving of the stuff with Versace, but the mausoleum shot seemed like an odd way to end it.

for the majority of the show they made andrew into this wildly entertaining figure and a victim of his circumstances.
the miglin letters served as a reminder to the horrible things that andrew did to innocent people.
