I was thinking about that scene in Terminator where Aunould shot up a police station and killed a gang of cops??!!?? I think Blue Lives Matter would not allow that to happen today.

I am not talking about cops killed collaterally during a bank robbery. The Terminator walked into a police station and was gunning down mad cops. I think that's different.

It's been ages though. When dude smokes herb and starts talking jive smh. I was more thinking about the inevitable asian exchange student and the gong sound effect that was sure to accompany.

Rocky comes off so unintentionally creepy. Also, it doesn't help that Adrien is so obviously put off at the start of that scene....to the point of being somewhat afraid.
I think that's the only scene where Stallone and Talia Shire could've done a different take with a better result. ---------------------------------------

That movie is still funny as hell to me but soooo much of it would not go over well today. Starting right off in the beginning when Slim Pickens utters the phrase "...like a bunch of Kansas City faggots".
The movie is a Mel Brooks classic but if it were released today shit would not go over well AT ALL.

His filmography showed that he's made films recently. But his movies around the turn of the century were so intensely dark and edgy thematically, that I can't see that modern audiences or financiers would have an appetite for those older movies.
