I used to be a regular on this forum. Not as much of late as as life got in the way, but wanted to mention my first feature film which is now available on Amazon Prime:
"The first feature by Nathan Williams... makes evocative use of all that vast emptiness, with allusions to existential elements in the style of NORTH BY NORTHWEST and NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN." -Hollywood Reporter
"The genius of Williams's film is how it takes this very familiar premise, sets it in near real-time across a visually striking, equally vast and intimate space, then fills it with the kind of existential dread and introspection that lends itself more to an Abbas Kiarostami film." -Twitch Film

The boards are a lot slower than they were when you were a regular, so I don't know that this will get the response it deserves here. But it's always great to see OKPs getting big things done.

First watch: I was tired as shit, so I passed out promptly after she first stopped at the gas station, and saw bits and pieces of her being carried, and the two spooks talking. THAT WAS IT.
Starting watching another night when I was awake, 15 minutes in, my wife and the girl doing her hair come in so I restart and got you 3 watchers for the price of one. Very good suspense and build up.
I was going to say "how does a CIA Agent/SPY not know how to hotwire a goddamn car (TWICE)" and be kind of frustrated with how that all went.
Then that SWERVE AT THE END THO.
I need to rewatch it!
Great debut.
Will inbox you more specific info.
Forgot you were a fellow 49ers fan! Victory all around (except on the football field lol)

Miss you around here brother. I don't think I was aware that you had a career in film but I always enjoyed your posts. I don't know if this is typical or not....but the 'recent reviews' are really love it or hate it eh? You're either getting 5 stars or 1 and nothing in between. I would guess that's a good sign.
Can't wait to see it. All I have to do is figure out (for the first time) how to pay for a movie rather than illegally stream it lol.

Checked this out last night. Liked the deliberate, tense pace and especially the use of the in-car camera setups. It added to the tension of the chase scenes and also the scene after the
*SPOILERS*
characters' capture.
</SPOILERS>
The acting was good, especially Debra. The scene where she struggles for her escape was amazing. The use of her breathing as a way to build tension was well used.
The ending through me for a loop and had me guessing if the guy who 'shot' her was in on her escape.
All in all, I enjoyed my hour and a half. I hope you feel proud of your work.
