The butt-chug overdose was CRAZY. Other than that, I'm waiting for the "crack" part of the whole thing. The cocaine part feels like a Narcos side plot, but I realize they have to lay things down to build upon.

Great soundtrack. Dug all the different environments from the Calabisis kid's porn mom's house, to the underground club at the furniture spot, to just day to day stuff. Interested in Oso's deal as well.

Like Legion, Snowfall, and probably the Netflix joints, where the trailers show the meat of the show but don't indicate that they'll be a slow burn. I thought this would be crack crack crack, but I understand they have to have something to build from.

that they focused on the Aftermath of Oso and them taking down her uncle's muscle. Even before they revealed what happened, you know her brother was going to/and ultimately did bitch out. Also Oso feeling the effects of cocaine for seemingly the first time.
also, thought that orphan kid was gonna go the cliche route of Teddy bonding with him, then the kid being killed in an airstrike. Instead Teddy worked him, and read him easily. Also didn't show the kid getting killed
And more amateur hour shit from Franklin. Any one who's ever watched a movie in their life knows TIE THE FUCKING GUY UP. Jesus, kid.

First with the protracted "will Franklin start slinging cocaine or not?" thing. I don't think the needed to drag out the aftermath of him getting jacked over two episodes. And there didn't seem to be any real reason for him to tell Ari he was out of the game. I think his part of this weeks episode could have been just as strong without it.
And the CIA/Contra guys getting stranded in the desert with also very Walt and Jesse-esque. Their storyline has been by far the weakest. Liked the stuff in the jungle last week, but it's mostly been a fucking slog to get through.
The most consistent storyline has been with Oso and the cousins. That's been well-executed down the line, even if it's predictable.
Don't want to make it sound like I think it's bad, but it's taking a bit to find it's sea legs. I hoping it'll get more consistent.
I will what has been consistently great is the soundtrack in the Franklin segments. That's been awesome.

agreed on the frankilin will he or wont he stuff, because we all know it's pointless. We did get a couple reveals. one that the black cop is ol girl's dad, and also that dude who got raped and his crew are apparently clapping back at Carvelle's crew, which means Franklin and them will be the next targets (If that's in the previews, i didn't see the previews)
I really liked the CIA stuff last week in the jungle, but it's very hit and miss. the week before with Teddy Mac's baby mama was excruciating. This stranded stuff had no real tension. Mainly because they haven't given us enough good material to care about these two
Also agreed that the Oso stuff is the most consistent, and solid. and on the soundtrack.

before it popped off, Franklin seemed hella ungrateful that Leon killed someone for him, like a week ago. Dude's reading off his laundry list of things that happened to him, mostly due to his own dumbassness, and treating Leon like he's just some hanger on
And i wonder what was said between Lucia in her fam because it's so vague. How much did that little bitch tell daddy (the robbery? that they killed their own guy?) Or just that they set up their own op and that she's fucking Oso. I figure he has to wonder where they got the capital to set up shop like that.
Also, I really enjoyed the Teddy Mac stuff this week.

I thought for sure it would be Teddy killing Victoria. I'm legit surprised they didn't show Teddy looking at the thoughtful gift she gave him last week. Poor girl. No connection to the game. just trying to do right by her sis.
Ray Ray didn't strike me being the kind of dude who'd ever be capable of killing Lenny, let alone even getting him in the trunk. Lenny seemed kinda high, so maybe he drugged him.
It's good enough to continue. Def needs work. Love the music too.

I enjoyed those scenes cause he is showing that he is faking it until he makes it but he is also faking it really well. This was my favorite episode in a while. Makes sense that Singleton directed it.
I do agree that if nobody finds it odd that Oso showed up just before the hit it'd be dumb as hell. I don't even really get why he came. I guess to make sure she was safe but she called them and told them when to come so she basically confirmed she was safe. That was an odd plan
