I don't think the audience for this one will rival either of the other Lego Movies. At least with the Batman movie, the character was a crowd favorite from the first Lego movie....who also happens to be a super popular hero. Ninjago is known....but moreso by the kids who have Ninjago sets and have seen the cartoon.

I'd probably stream that next year.

4. "Much, much better than Lego Batman"

This is more fun and I like the Shaw Brothers and anime influences were used in a smart way.

The action is 10x better than Lego Batman as well.

And the bookends with Jackie Chan and the little kid were dope and made sense narratively.

I had hella fun.

I dont think it was better than Batman Lego Movie but it was solid. Good action scenes though really good actually. Jackie Chan mentioned on Conan that when he saw the rough cuts of the action he told them he didnt move that way. So he brought in his stunt team to coordinate the scenes and the animators watched and animated them. But so far the Lego Movies are 3 for 3.
