Anybody else watching? I watched the first episode and it was surprisingly entertaining. Like some reviews have said, I'm not sure how long they can keep it up without becoming TOO repetitive, but it's good so far.
"A group of underachieving fortysomething friends travel to Belize for an early retirement celebration that turns into a nightmare and puts their bond to the ultimate test as they deal with lies, deception and murder."

The original UK series only had four episodes and I think extending it to ten episodes was too much for the material. I got tired of their bickering. There was one standalone storyline that worked well but there were a couple of episodes that definitely felt like they were just trying to fill time. The actors did a great job with the fairly thin characters and keep the show afloat.
Ultimately, it's one of those shows that I wouldn't recommend either way. It's good enough that I wouldn't say people should skip it but, on the other hand, it's not good enough that people should definitely check it out.

I'm digging it so far. Like I said before, it can get repetitive. It's got that "Gilligan's Island" thing going where you think they're "getting off the island", but something comes up and stops them. But I do like the performances. Everyone is doing a good job with the characters. And I even like Steven Zahn and he usually irritates me in stuff.
EDIT: I forgot to mention how beautiful Puerto Rico is. The show is set in Belize but they shoot in Puerto Rico. It looks amazing. I also love the little interactions they cast has with various locals. Shows a stark difference between the local population and the boorish Americans.

The scenery in Belize was beautiful. And that damned "cat" was a monster. We watched the entire season during the weekend we were snowed in. Nowhere to go and nothing else to do with 29" of snow and 35 - 40 mph winds happening outside your windows.
Edit: I'm looking forward to Season 2. I'd like to see how much more they can add to this story.
