he had to let it out somehow.

It seems like the Russians just all of a sudden appeared and now play a big role. Maybe I missed a crucial episode or fell asleep?

Who wants to kill Carrie and Quinn? Is it the German lady?

The Russian got involved because in the episode two weeks ago, the hacker's friend made mention to a Russian diplomat that the documents were available for purchase.

Show was pointing to the Berlin station chief Allison being behind it...the phone they pulled off the guy who tried to kill Quinn went to Alison's phone....and they obviously knew about the drop box, maybe even from pillow talk with Saul...I think Allison wanted Carrie dead and Quinn subsequently to tie up lose pieces....Dara could be behind it all but there's no evidence of that unless I missed something

2 reasons:

- she legitimately thinks Carrie is leaking those CIA docs now that she's left the fold and is working so closely with these human rights people

- since she's giving Saul that good red snapper, and she knows how Saul loves the shit outta Carrie - and probably thinking they've had relations w/ how close they are and how he always gives Carrie an out - she's jealous as shit and wants to get the competition out of the way.

Base way of thinking Saul was fucking Carrie or looking Carrie as a woman to compete with saw over sexually but more in the way a new wife or girlfriend can be jealous of their man's relationship with his daughter. Allison feels like at the end of the day Saul will bend over backwards for Carrie becuz he is protective of her like a daughter

And Allison feels that Carrie doesn't deserve all the hype. And she does see her as a liability now

i guess i didn't really get that across.

i think she's jealous of her in ALL ways. she's Saul's golden child so Saul makes excuses for Carrie and throws Allison under the bus (or almost did), but i think from the outside people can't really tell how the whole Saul/Carrie dynamic works but when two people are that close everyone wonders.

really curious who blew up the plane. had to be the Israeli dude, no?

From Syria, the Israeli ambassador is a good guess tho, based on the convo with him and Saul at his dinner

but I'm digging it so far. The angle with the non-profit has been alright and it's interesting to see her within a relationship.

The only part that's throwing me off is the journalist who is the dumbest smart person on the show.

Her faux passion for freedom comes off as stupid and blind as she has managed to get Carrie and her other contact in deep trouble. It's not that she's self-righteous and kind of an asshole, it's that she doesn't know what she's doing and is self-righteous.


*** SLIGHT SPOILER ***

For instance that portion of the plot that she was talking with the German hacker and she acted upset when the hacker asked her for the phone, couldn't the journalist understand that the hacker had no reason to trust her. Granted that scene had nothing to do with the narrative, but she's so unlikable AND stupid.

But other than that the season's been great.

I lost track of the time and didnt realize it was near the end of the episode. I cant wait a week. I hope Allison gets a brutal brutal death.

I started this post originally thinking Peter was gonna go Seal Team 6 on folks and he been laid up the whole season

they already said she is useless to them after this. Im sure there is no "Millions or dollars" waiting for her. Weather the attack is successfully or not they prob was/are gonna wack her.

outta all the seasons of

strong from the beginning
to the second to last episode

as intense as anything season 1...

Carrie/claire just needs to chill with the tears, every scene now she wells up, it's becoming distracting

Alison will hopefully die and be one of the more satisfying deaths in recent tv memory
