It took a while to get to the point, like most pilots it was kinda disjointed in the opening, but once it go to the premise of the show it was better.
I'm going to give it time, but if they keep Rob Lowe up with the L&O court antics it's gonna be great. I'm not very keen on Fred Savage, but I'll give him a chance.

I kind of feel like there's a pretty finite set of jokes here, but I don't write awesome sitcoms for a living so I'll just wait and trust the experts.

...I watched a couple episodes, til I realized this dude seems legit insane and they all just roll with it, even the dad....I couldn't suspend logic long enough to keep watching....

Fox cancelled the show. Part of me is bummed because it's one of my favorite comedies on TV but part of me wonders if they could have kept it up for another season. The gimmick was wearing a bit thin.
That being said, Fred Savage should give acting another try and not go straight back into directing. He's awesome in this.
