I can't believe I'm saying this but, it was actually good. Little kids 8 and up are gonna loose their little minds over this movie. It's destined to be the new sleepover classic (pause).
Jack Black was really good in this. Words I'd thought I'd never say.

the wife and I are both really excited to see this. I like the route they went with the story. I thought they were going to bring individual books to life. Or go the TV show route and have kids at camp telling the stories. I think this is much more interesting. The boy is pretty pumped too. I think mostly because of Jack Black. He loves Nacho Libre. But we are there opening weekend.

man this movie was great. It was really funny, which I wasnt expecting. All the kids did a great job. It was just a fun movie. My son absolutely loved it. Slappy kind of freaked him out in parts. Had him closing his eyes when he would come on screen. Had high hopes for this and it didnt disappoint. Cant wait for the sequel.

This is one of those kid movies that'll be shown on Halloween for years to come.
Took my kid last Sunday and we both loved it. I heard it was good, didn't expect to like as much as I did. I'm a horror geek and this was the perfect amount for the kids without being too overboard or too campy.
Worth every bit of the money to see it.
