otherwise I'm ok with it. I have not issue with the Atom in the comics but the character on the show is just wack. not sure if it's the wannabe Iron Man suit or what, but I'm not feeling it. also think it would be better without Captain Cold and Heatwave. that part doesn't seem to make any sense. a smaller team would probably be better seeing as how they'll probably add Arrow and/or Flash at different times. Rip Hunter, Firestorm (which is two guys), Hawkgirl and White Canary seems like more than enough.

all in all though I'm sure I'll check it out.

It's essentially The Justice League's B team, (w/flash) and I'm ok with that.

Didn't like the idea of adding Captain Cold and Heatwave but so far so good.

It reminds of one of DC's late 80s books, like the John Ostrander written Suicide Squad, the first Justice League International by Giffen and DeMatteis, or Grant Morrison's Doom Patrol... A cool but ridiculous concept of random characters doing random things. It's a great idea for a comic book, and I honestly can't believe that a concept like this is on TV.

who was maaaad hyped for this only to be severly let down. No, not by Atom, The Hawks or any of the Legends, but by the fact that they aren't actually legends at all. All that cool backstory of how they became legends, etc (the trailers made it seem like that was the premise. Where was the "I've seen dark knights fall" lines at?)

Then it just seemed like they were doing way too much in the first ep. I will watch ep 2 tonight but I am largely unimpressed so far.

Tried watching part 2 and just didn't care for various reasons. Team Arrow basically dispatched Vandal Savage (until Merlin swept his remains up) so it's tough to follow a show of people who should have the drop on him struggling to beat him. Too many characters and the Prison Break duo is great in small doses but they are too hammy to watch every week. Couldn't The Atom sneak into his pocket, wait for him to be alone and inject him with something? Couldn't the Time Masters go back to before dude stole the Wave Rider and stop him?

With so many shows on TV and Arrow being on the edge of being dropped by me since this season has been so boring, I'm out.

didn't watch ep 2 yet, but 1 was pretty so-so to me. the only show out of the trio that holds much interest at this point for me is flash.

not to be too harsh on the (already) naysayers up in this piece but: give the fucking thing a chance. yikes. 2 episodes in, people. TWO. i know y'all are discerning as fuck and know ur own tastes and what not but...TWO episodes.

the action set pieces alone are miles above both Flash and Arrow, and executed pretty darn nicely. reminds me of how much Arrow's action scenes used to kick as much ass before we started getting this highly-telegraphed lacking-in-any-ferocity piss-poor fights over the last two seasons. LoT already has that on lock.
got White Canary & a young Prof. Stein "smoking doobies", which i didn't think the show would even touch, let alone devote so much time to. lotsa fun.
yknow, i was into the whole Hawkman/Hawkgirl thing, but they've made them such shitty warriors that it's no fucking wonder Savage has killed em so many damn times already. aren't the Hawk peeps sposed to be furious wrecking balls when it comes to fighting? Carter went out like a chump, and Kendra wasn't far behind. out of the ensemble they're the least i care about.
Rip is a great misfit type hero and captain for what is essentially another 'ragtag group' dynamic which, when done right, works a treat.

and again, going against majority opinion (on here anyways), i LOVE Miller and Purcell as Snart and Mick. actually Snart in general has been hecka fun to watch. just the way he SPEAKS is frign hilarity, whilst having that old school villain tone to it. and it's gonna be cool to flesh Mick out a bit more so he's not just a lunkhead.

this iteration of Firestorm has been great. Jax kicks ass. one of the best sfx they've done from Flash and here has been Firestorm, w/out a doubt. and i been a fan of Brandon's version of Ray since jump. dude's too likable not to like.

i def agree that Arrow has taken huge dips in quality over the last two seasons, the reasons for which are numerous and pointless in discussing in a LoT thread. Flash has remained consistent. Legends is a different animal: epic and potentially endless scope, mostly done with a light-hearted non-chalance cos hey, they're no heroes. and just cos the premise was sort of a lie (as told to us by CW and as told to the characters by Rip), doesn't mean these guys don't have what it takes to BE legends (before the 'cement hardens', as per Rip's time metaphor).

i'd give the shit at least half the season before making ur mind's up so damn quick, but that's just me.

(end note: Caity Lotz is the shit).

I have to honestly ignore the bigger plotline of VS which makes ZERO sense, in order to enjoy the rest of it, which is almost gold (the Hawks being such terrible fighters is an issue)

...they would EVER separate Jackson and Prof. Stein on a mission? With the exception of the Russia episode where they were afraid of Savage getting his hands on Firestorm, there is no logical reason those two should be on two different teams when the Legends split up. It is so bananas. You have a nuclear man! You want him to be able to fuse at any second!

(I know the reason is the effects budget, but come on, man)

happy dis show got re-upped for next year. but its making less and less sense each week and getting redundant. figure out a workaround about firestorm fusing together. most of their missions are successful and a wrap with the nuclear man being nuclear.

..Having a two year time jump for some characters and a couple minutes pass for the others was interesting... Truly enjoyed the ep for the most part... LOL at Snart breaking off his hand to what? warn them dude is really Mick?? Then a snce later saying Mick is a monster and beyond redemption...

...if they hadn't shown Snart's last interaction with Mick I wouldn't have figured out that he was Kronos within the first few minutes of the show,,,, the recap didn't help the element of surprise.... Kronos is a good villain, I'm gonna enjoy them failing to rehab him....

I don't care about the relationship stuff but it's a CW show the ONLY CW show I can think of that doesn't have a hint of romance is Supernatural, and it has "bromance" all over it though

I still want the show to make more sense, but I understand that given the absurdity of it's plot and characters, it can't....Therefore, I just accept it for what it is and enjoy the ride

But mostly, I kept wondering why Flash just wouldn't go back in time to when they first met Zoom and murked him while he thought they were still falling for his charade. Have they made an excuse yet for why Barry can't just keep going back in time to fix things?

Granted, the solution was just to make Zoom hold Wally hostage right there and force them to give him the speed force immediately but they needed to stretch out the decision making/show Wally trapped in Zoom's lair but it irked me the whole episode.
