Man, this shit was slow after the first three episodes but by Episode 9 on it's nothing but constant tension throughout the rest of the run. And the season ending cliffhanger is a doozy b.

I'd bump up the slowness of the series to the first five or six episodes. After that, the drama truly builds up. I'm on the eighth or ninth episode now and the pace of the show has definitely picked up. I think I literally fell asleep twice watching the show during the first five episodes though. Slow as molasses. Probably finish off the first season this weekend for sure.

the acting is good and all, but this show moves slow as molasses, which is impressive given the show takes places in a festive location like a beach resort in Florida. I'm finding it very hard to care about the family in general. I'll give this a shot this weekend again. The 'gimmick' for revealing what happens to the older brother bit by bit at the end of each episode gets a bit tedious.
I enjoyed it, but I'm also good if it isn't renewed.
Although I could see this getting better with each season, as you learn more about the characters and develop a history with them. The setup promotes that.
