dude had to put up with her constantly putting them off for work, Zeke's crap about being a stay at home dad even though he was one of the best contractors in Cali, he shook off mad moms trying to get at him, one chick even told Julia straight up if she even slipped she was going at Joel hard. when Joel found out about Zeke affair he handled that like a true man and reasuured Julia he'd never do that to her. it seems like every season there was a episode where he took time out to show Julia how much she was appreciated. this chick up and quit her job and because of the way she did it, couldn't get another one, so Joel had to go back to work and this chick got mad talking about he wouldn't be there for Victor. then she gets in an emotional relationship with some dude but loses her crap because Joel has an attractive boss, who he showed no romantic interest in. she resents him for having to work late but was only a few months removed from doing the same thing. if she wasn't so busy trying to put herself in her moms shoes, she wouldn't have ever been in the position she was in. Joel had every right to be hurt and pissed at her. and Zeke needs to just die, dude is the worst character on TV, his only redeeming quality is he loves his grandkids

talking about she a good mother. Sydney didn't start acting up until she took over. She was always a little hothead but Joel kept her balanced. He made excuses for Julia when she was on the grind and made sure she knew, even though Julia was busy she loved her. The Julia/Joel storyline is the best one going. I'm looking forward to his Jerry McGuire moment in a couple weeks. And I think soldier boy is making a cameo appearance next week.
